Forget everything you ever heart about the way how and with what kind of materials is to built a house.

At our place at the eastern Algarve near Tavira, named Quinta da Arte the artistic house, the Pavilhao da Arte, was created by the owner, an artist, who did the things in his way and surprised many of our guests with an unconventional house with a lot of light and space with integrated art objects in the living area and a surprising bathroom ,done in different blue tones and art and with a hugh bath tub, made out of little tiles and situated direct next to the sleeping room with air-condition, a double bed and mosquito net around it.

The bathroom invites to stay only to observe the play of the sun light broken in the colourful artistic integrated glass frames -an art work too.

Some of our guest- families were enjoying the bath tub all together and babies are learning here how to swim ...it is true!

What although is very popular for our guests for the younger and the adult once might be and sometimes the main reason to rent the house is the nice and big outdoor bed with mosquito net where easily can sleep 2-3 persons

And I can tell that this happen allways during the years, that there was sleeping a family together in summer nights having a little adventure experience.

Pavilhao da Arte is different but not lifted or spectacular- it is created with fantasies and built with a well understanding for using different kind of materials what you can only do in a southern country like Portugal.

As all of our four houses which we are renting at Quinta da Arte ( please ask me to show you the other houses too) is the Pavilhao da Arte situated in midden of nature with an separate kitchen house with dining area and barbecue under a shadow roof surrounded by nice plants and for refreshing an outdoor shower.

In the small ,nearby village Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo (2,5km) guests will find a pharmacy ,a cafe with bakery, a pub , some restaurants as well little markeetst with the best saisonal fruits and vegetables buy at

Donna Marias shop.

The beautiful and very charming Renaissance city named Tavira as well named " the Algarvian Jewel" with it tasteful restored houses and buildings invites to be discovered .

And afterwards to enjoy a good meal in one of the good traditional restaurants or as well in some very good international kitchen restaurants.

Cultural events are attracting the guests to participate a theatre peace or a concert by night on the amp hie theatre in the city centre. And for the children they do really nice things too.

Really spectacular beautiful is for sure the Atlantic sea with the large beaches and the best water quality in Europe calls the blue band.

With little ferries or by a little train or by food the guests can reach the sea and can discover the beauty of his protected area calls Ria da Formosa .

Only to pass a day at the beach is holiday feeling pure and there is no need to have more to become the feeling this is a paradise.

And after a day like this to come home to grill a fresh fish on the barbecue makes life perfect.

For sure there much more things to do and to enjoy and the secrets I will tell you when I welcome you in our paradise.

All guests are welcome and there are no special rules to take care about.
Important rules for all guest I will explain after arriving. If the guest may broken something I will may ask to pay for it and we will talk about it.
Not a big catastrophe when it is not vandalism for sure.
It is allowed to smoke into or near by the house ( not in the landscape area) always having respect for the very dry summer days in the south and knowing about the danger almost a little fire could couse.

ach Ihr lieben Menschen, was fuer schoene Zeilen die Ihr ueber unser kleines Paradies in Mitten der Natur gelegen aber nahe an allem was schoen und entdeckenswert wie das tolle Meer mit seinen weiten Straenden das geschuetzt durch die vorgelagerte Lagunenlandschaft von hohen Bauten verschont geblieben ist. Dann unsere kleinen Orte und Staedte mit einladenenden Marekten, guten Restauarnts netten Cafes und vielem mehr. Ihr habt es genossen nach Fabrica zu fahren dort ueber das Watt ans weite Meer zu laufen um den Tag dort zu verbringen... Seele baumeln lassen die Fussabdruecke hinterlassen und mit Appetit den gegrillten Fisch bei Joao in Fuzeta am Abend zu verzehren. Oder ich fand Euch vertieft in der Haengematte am Pool vor....kurz wurde dee Hand zum Grusse erhoben um dann wieder in andere Welten einzutauchen. Ja Ihr seid gerne hier und das ist fuer uns das schoenste Geschenk. Seid auch beim naechsten Mal wieder sehr herzlich Willkommen. Vielleicht schon im Herbst wenn alle gut geht dann gehen wir wandern oder lauschen einem kleinen Konzert am Abend auf einer der Aussenbuenhnen im schoenen Tavira. Bis bald.

Was fuer eine freundliche und zugewandte Beschreibung Eures Aufenthaltes in unserem kleinen Paradies. Ich freue mich sehr darueber und wuensche mir das neue Interessenten auch neugierig sind uns kennenzulernen. Wir haben vier seperat gelgene Ferienhaeuser wovon ein jedes individuell gestaltet ist und umgeben ist von der Natur. Auch Ihr habt Euer Haus von Beginn an genossen das Aussenbett,die separte Kueche im Garten neben einem Ess und Grillplatz. Leben in der Natur das nehmen wir hier woertlich nicht wahr? was sind das fuere schoene Zeilen ueber Eure Tage in unserem kleinen Paradies das Ihr mit Euer offenen neugierigen Art sehr geniessen konntet. ich freue mich sehr!! das Ihr bei uns eintauchen konntet und Ihr Euch bei uns und unserem so schoenen,vielseitigem Umland wohl fuehlen konntet.Die Kinder waren entspannt und so wart Ihr es als Eltern auch dazu trug unser Pool sicher vieles dazu bei und am Abend wurden Geschichetn gelesen unter Sternen im grossen Aussenbett. Das Meer mit seinen tollen Straenden war haeufig Ausflugsziel fuer Euch und danach gab es selbst gesammelte Muscheln und aufgeregte Geschichten ueber die hunderte von Winkerkrappen die Ihr in der Lagunenlandschaft oder am Meer beobachten konntet. Tavira unsere kleine Perle war fuer Euch entdeckenswert und immer gut fuer ein abendiches Eis essen. Es war sehr schoen Euch kennen zu lernen und ich freue mich auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen .passt auf Euch auf und geht weiter mutig voran und vor allem aber bleibt gesund!! Alles Liebe und Gute!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
