“Tavira” Spent a lovely week at this apartment. Fully furnished, very clean and very central location.
Would have given 5 stars but we could not get wifi in main bedroom, I know this may not be important to many but we had to keep in touch with back home, one other wee thing we thought was that' the sun screen on roof terrace was a bit too much shade
All in all we would book again
“Excellent apartment” Price was a big factor in choosing this apartment and it exceeded all my expectations. Roomy, modern, very clean and on one of the main streets. It is a short walk to the river, not far from the station and I found Tavira to be a real gem of a town. The bus from the airport to Faro and then train to Tavira was easy and cheap. The owners were very helpful. Hope to return later in the year, totally recommended.
This is a very stylish attractive town house with everything you may need and more. We were a family of six and various ages but it suited all of us as it is very spacious and well layed out. It is very well looked after by Rachel and her team and they are always on hand with any problems you may have. The complex is well looked after and maintained and the pool is clean and very attractive with a children's section. You can eat inside, outside or have a BBQ on the sun roof. Tavira town itself is a delight with lots of restaurants, cafes, great for your evening out and a ferry to the beach, which should not be missed.
I would definitely recommend this town house, …
Loft39 - Central Tavira
Me and my mother rented this stunning apartment. Everything was excellent! The location vas great. Tavira is a pretty litte town. Stunning beach att Tavira Island.
The owner was very kind all along!
I can really recommend this loft. Really! …
Convenient and roomy
The apartment met our needs for the week mainly because of its location so close to Tavira town and the Plaza. It was roomy, plenty of space for 4. Comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, washing machine and dishwasher. Large sofa (unfortunately was sandy and no vacuum to get if off) and dining table in the lounge with a small balcony. It was quite noisy due to traffic and the school opposite but it didn't bother us. Slight criticism - the sheets and towels were clean but worn and could do with replacing and I couldn't find any tea towels at all. …
Terracos de Tavira (Townhouse)
Fabulous townhouse, spacious and comfortable.
We stayed in Michelle’s townhouse for 8 nights in July. We are a family of 5 adults and it was an excellent choice for us. The house is spacious, immaculate, comfortable and very well appointed.
There are sunny and shady terraces for relaxation throughout the day.
We have stayed in the complex previously over several years and are familiar with the location, the town and of course the steps! Michelle’s house is without doubt superior to any other rental property in the complex as it is so well equipped. The kitchen has every utensil you could wish for. The beds are very comfortable ensuring a great night’s sleep.
This house would also suit a family with young children as it is very convenient to the kiddie pool.
Michelle is a most solicitous hostess but we wanted for nothing and enjoyed a very relaxed family holiday.
We would hope to return! …
CHARMING, 2 BEDROOM TOWN HOUSE, SLEEP 4/6, WIFI, POOL, NEAR TOWN CENTRE.
We arrived by taxi transfer from Faro, took about 30 minutes. We arrived earlier and could not access the apartment until 3pm due to cleaning so, this gave us some time to investigate Tavira. The town itself is about a 25 minute walk from the apartment block. The only downside to the journey, was the lack of a zebra crossing by the apartment block itself however, if you are patient eventually, a car will stop to let you cross the road. This is not something the owner had any power over. You will find a good mini-market by the accommodation, reasonably priced, and a larger, slightly cheaper one 15 minutes away (by foot) inside a large indoor (air-conditioned) shopping centre.
The house itself was wonderfully equipped, we didn't want for anything. The air conditioning was great, and kept the place very cool. Beds were comfortable and, much to our surprise, a maid came every day to empty the bins, refresh toilet rolls and make the beds.
The pool nearest the house was quite busy however, we always managed to get a sun lounger. There always seemed to be plenty of loungers at the other pool, which was only a few minutes further away. Travelling in August, it is what one comes to expect. On the plus side, people took their belongings with them when they left the pool area, i.e didn't hog the loungers.
The on site Nora Vehla cocktail bar was very child friendly and the food was of a good quality, good portions and great value.
I can highly recommend restaurants, Le Petit France, Copos & Petiscos and The Food Factory. All which can be located this side of the river. Be aware, they only take Cash, no cards! We did not have a bad meal in Tavira, and it was reasonably priced too (considering the current pound-euro rate)
Make the effort to take the boat over to Tavira Island, a lovely beach, with plenty of restaurants.
Overall, i would 100% recommend this accommodation and Tavira itself. Our family had a wonderfully relaxed holiday.
The owner, Genettee, was very helpful and quick at communicating. A pleasure to do business with. …
