“We absolutely loved our stay at Vila da Praia!” The apartment is nicely decorated and really spacious. Because the apartment is so well equipped with everything you could need, we stayed home some evenings, cooked and enjoyed dinner on the balcony. The complex itself is really private and can only be accessed with a security key. The pool is gorgeous and is surrounded by lovely garden landscaping. The apartment is really central and only a 5 minute walk to the centre of town and the nearest shopping market. Their bread is to die for and they make several fresh batches daily. If you are travelling with a family or large group, this is the place to stay. It is central, safe and you enjoy the feeling of being at home in the idyllic setting of Alvor! Alvor itself is a pretty fishing village and is nicely busy with some lovely restaurants. We highly recommend staying here. Patricia and Eugene, Galway (Ireland)

“Fantastic villa in great location” We were impressed with the interior of the villa from the moment we stepped through the door. The lower level in particular was extremely spacious and the kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have experienced in over 25 years of renting villas. My wife and I loved the walk-in dressing room in our bedroom. The outside space, including the pool, was also brilliant. The pool was very safe and perfect for our five year old granddaughter who learned to swim in less than three days. Our other grandchild also loved the pool, and the "chill space". Pedro, the owner, was very friendly and quickly helped resolve the issue (with the help of our grandson) when we were locked out due to a faulty door handle. The villa is ideally placed and just a short walk to the centre though the walk back is all uphill. A taxi from the square cost 4 euros 75. Would we rent the villa again - definitely !

“Absolutely superb” What can I say about this villa but absolutely superb in every way the pool is beautiful the hole place has been renovated from top to toe it is a credit to the owners. Only had one problem with barbecue but that was sorted by the end of the day. The owners are very helpful I will be back To be honest with you the pictures don’t do the villa justice its a 100 times better in person . Thankyou Be back soon

“Excellent stay” We are just home from 1 week staying in this apartment. I would thoroughly recommend. It is very spacious, well laid out and clean! Best apartment we've ever stayed in. Pool area very good with kids pool excellent for our 2 yr old! Close enough to walk strip but taxi for def to old town. Supermarket close by and def try the Dubliner for food! Excellent standard and good variety!

“Spacious, stylish, comfortable, and immaculately clean apartment in calm, convenient and beautiful surroundings” Our drive from Faro airport to the Algarve treasure apartment in Lagos was smooth and quick (about 1 hour) due to the excellent directions we had been given in advance of our departure from England. As we set off from the airport, we phoned a representative of the management company that looks after the apartment, who promptly greeted us on arrival. The apartment itself is very spacious, stylish, immaculately clean, and fully air-conditioned. You will find everything you need in it in terms of kitchen appliances, hairdryers, books, extra blankets, etc., and it has wifi! We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful location of the apartment, being only metres away from the marina and Lagos town. Despite being so close to all amenities (conveniently there is a supermarket very close to the apartment), we found ourselves in very peaceful and calm surroundings, which we very much appreciated. In the evenings, we would walk into the lovely and very historic Lagos Old Town for a meal and stroll through its charming and lively streets. As we had hired a car, we explored many parts of the Algarve. Some of our favourite places apart from Lagos were Sagres, Monchique, Pera, and Silves. We went to Silves no less than three times, visiting our favourite roof top pizzeria Café Ingles, which offers you outstanding pizzas, stunning views and great jazz music! This was our second holiday in Portugal and it definitely won’t be the last. Next time, we would love to stay in the same location and apartment and explore more of the beautiful towns, villages, and stunningly beautiful coastline and beaches that Algarve has to offer.

“perfect location - perfect holiday for eveyone” Apartment was great, had everything you needed and a breathtaking view. Apartment 255 is up two flights of steps but hey you can't get a view like that without them, and it really is worth it. Plenty of towels, linen, crocks, everything we needed, a superb bathroom and beds that you could actually get a good night sleep in. Only got back this afternoon but already looking at booking for next year! a couple of little local restaurants by the apartment so if you don't want to venture into town you can get your meals there, and the local shop/tobacconist is only five mins away. My first time to Portugal and it wont be my last. Travelled with another family, teen lads with us both, they stayed in apartment next door which whilst the view was superb the quality of the apartment was not quite the same as 255. Wifi available for free at every bar and restaurant so the kids were happy too. Debby

“AWESOME!!!” Great location for the apartment that was immaculate being very clean and tidy with an excellent satellite TV set up and terrific WIFI speed to keep our son happy. The gated community is well kept and quiet with a nice balance of families and other couples staying. Our stay was hosted so well from Maria who met us on our arrival to show us around which was greatly appreciated and nothing was ever a problem when making contact with Maria. We know the area well having been to Vilamoura many times before and the bikes were well used on the cycle paths and various routes around the area. Highly recommended, great location for Laguna and Millennium golf courses and the wonderful Felicia beach.

“Amazing!!” Apartment was fabulous, so much space, every thing you need for a great time,. Views from the terrace are breathtaking, so relaxing too. The complex it's self is very clean & tidy & the gardens are well matained! 10-15 mins into the old town a little hilly to walk back up but was no problem once you found all the short cuts!! Rosemary was a pleasure to deal with & answered all our questions promptly. Jan the manager booked our transfers to & from the airport & was on hand should we need her. Really enjoyed our stay so much so we,ve already booked for next year! This apartment could well be our forever holiday home. !! Thank you rosemary for allowing us to use your holiday home!!

“Wonderful Peaceful Rural Retreat” This was our third trip to Eastern Algarve and we found everything as described. It was a lovely relaxing holiday with fantastic accommodation. We had everything we could have asked for. The pool was wonderful and the local restaurants warm and inviting. We also had great fun with the barbeque having been to the fish market at Olhao and purchased many strange and wonderful varieties of fish. A car is essential on this holiday and the coast only half an hour's ride away so you can be as relaxed or as busy as you wish. All in all a great holiday and we will return one day soon we hope. “Vistas das Ondas 2 Bedroom Apartment - 90561 Lovely 2 bedroom apartment” Having looked at a few of the one and two bedroom apartments at the Vistas das Ondas apartment complex I went for the two bedroom apartment 90561 on Holiday Lettings website and i am so glad i did. It is a very spacious well equipped apartment furnished to a very high standard. I have stayed in many apartments over the years and this is by far the nicest one i have stayed in. My family and i were holidaying with three other families who were also staying in this complex and we visited each apartment. Each one was well equipped but i felt that 90561 had alot more space. This apartment was the only one that was air conditioned throughout aswell, the other apartments did not have air conditioning in the living area and it became very hot and almost unbearable to sit in. This apartment is on the 3rd floor and does not face the pool. At first I was a little dissapointed but the view from the large balcony is lovely. It has a panaromic view of the coastline and it was nice to get away from the noise of the pool. The whole complex is very clean and well looked after. We used the pool everyday and also used the tennis court and both were well looked after and very clean. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment complex and apartment 90561 to anyone.

“Excellent complex, immaculate, no fuss, superb location” Spent a really enjoyable week, the apartment is finished to the highest standard. Spacious, modern, excellent kitchen, superb shower! Complex is lovely, neat gardens, very well kept, however with minimum fuss. The pool area very well designed, 2 pools, ensuring maximum peace and quiet even for those without children. Pool bar offered a range of snacks at lunch time, delivered with minimum fuss, by friendly and polite staff. Location of the apartment meant it was a short stroll into the village that was home to many lovely restaurants, suiting all budgets! This was our second visit to Praia Da Luz and we will certainly come back again.
