“Fantastic villa in great location” We were impressed with the interior of the villa from the moment we stepped through the door. The lower level in particular was extremely spacious and the kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have experienced in over 25 years of renting villas. My wife and I loved the walk-in dressing room in our bedroom. The outside space, including the pool, was also brilliant. The pool was very safe and perfect for our five year old granddaughter who learned to swim in less than three days. Our other grandchild also loved the pool, and the "chill space". Pedro, the owner, was very friendly and quickly helped resolve the issue (with the help of our grandson) when we were locked out due to a faulty door handle. The villa is ideally placed and just a short walk to the centre though the walk back is all uphill. A taxi from the square cost 4 euros 75. Would we rent the villa again - definitely !

“We absolutely loved our stay at Vila da Praia!” The apartment is nicely decorated and really spacious. Because the apartment is so well equipped with everything you could need, we stayed home some evenings, cooked and enjoyed dinner on the balcony. The complex itself is really private and can only be accessed with a security key. The pool is gorgeous and is surrounded by lovely garden landscaping. The apartment is really central and only a 5 minute walk to the centre of town and the nearest shopping market. Their bread is to die for and they make several fresh batches daily. If you are travelling with a family or large group, this is the place to stay. It is central, safe and you enjoy the feeling of being at home in the idyllic setting of Alvor! Alvor itself is a pretty fishing village and is nicely busy with some lovely restaurants. We highly recommend staying here. Patricia and Eugene, Galway (Ireland)

“Real marina apartments” A great spot in a typical Portuguese working town. The apartments at the edge of the resort only a five min walk to the town. There is a Lidl just up the road to gather all the essentials. It is a 20 min walk to the ferry which takes you to beautiful island beaches for under 2 euros. Some lovely patisseries close by to sit and have a cofffee and cake and very well priced. The apartment is clean and very modern with everything you could possibly need. We hope to return. “Amazing!!” Apartment was fabulous, so much space, every thing you need for a great time,. Views from the terrace are breathtaking, so relaxing too. The complex it's self is very clean & tidy & the gardens are well matained! 10-15 mins into the old town a little hilly to walk back up but was no problem once you found all the short cuts!! Rosemary was a pleasure to deal with & answered all our questions promptly. Jan the manager booked our transfers to & from the airport & was on hand should we need her. Really enjoyed our stay so much so we,ve already booked for next year! This apartment could well be our forever holiday home. !! Thank you rosemary for allowing us to use your holiday home!!

“Spacious, stylish, comfortable, and immaculately clean apartment in calm, convenient and beautiful surroundings” Our drive from Faro airport to the Algarve treasure apartment in Lagos was smooth and quick (about 1 hour) due to the excellent directions we had been given in advance of our departure from England. As we set off from the airport, we phoned a representative of the management company that looks after the apartment, who promptly greeted us on arrival. The apartment itself is very spacious, stylish, immaculately clean, and fully air-conditioned. You will find everything you need in it in terms of kitchen appliances, hairdryers, books, extra blankets, etc., and it has wifi! We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful location of the apartment, being only metres away from the marina and Lagos town. Despite being so close to all amenities (conveniently there is a supermarket very close to the apartment), we found ourselves in very peaceful and calm surroundings, which we very much appreciated. In the evenings, we would walk into the lovely and very historic Lagos Old Town for a meal and stroll through its charming and lively streets. As we had hired a car, we explored many parts of the Algarve. Some of our favourite places apart from Lagos were Sagres, Monchique, Pera, and Silves. We went to Silves no less than three times, visiting our favourite roof top pizzeria Café Ingles, which offers you outstanding pizzas, stunning views and great jazz music! This was our second holiday in Portugal and it definitely won’t be the last. Next time, we would love to stay in the same location and apartment and explore more of the beautiful towns, villages, and stunningly beautiful coastline and beaches that Algarve has to offer.

“excellent villa” First time in Luz and loved it and Len's villa was amazing as well. it has 3 good size bedrooms and a lovely private swimming pool and everything you would need, in fact I contacted him twice about little items he replied within hours and they were sorted its a short 10 minute walk to the town and its lovely restaurants and beach, would like to go back again, the only item I would mention is it would be nice to have air-conditioning. thanks for a smashing holiday.

“The Beautiful Villa Francesca” Villa Francesca felt more like a second home than a rental property. There was a wonderful feeling of homeliness about it. The standard of the accommodation was good and we enjoyed the spaciousness of the rooms. We were a party of 8 ranging in ages from 6 to 80 and everyone had a wonderful time. For my parents both in their 80's there was more than enough space to disappear to away from the children yet without feeling the need to temper the children's enjoyment of the pool and garden (both of which were beautifully kept). We would all return to this villa in a heartbeat. The owners too were very kind and welcoming in email correspondence before and after we arrived with great recommendations for beaches and restaurants. The location was a perfect balance in terms of distance to a variety of different beaches and restaurants whilst at the same time the villa itself was very private and tucked away from the buzz of the town. The local manager was helpful and accommodating. We really did love this holiday and would have no hesitation in recommending it. We hope to return to Villa Francesca ourselves on day soon.

“Absolutely superb” What can I say about this villa but absolutely superb in every way the pool is beautiful the hole place has been renovated from top to toe it is a credit to the owners. Only had one problem with barbecue but that was sorted by the end of the day. “Excellent complex, immaculate, no fuss, superb location” Spent a really enjoyable week, the apartment is finished to the highest standard. Spacious, modern, excellent kitchen, superb shower! Complex is lovely, neat gardens, very well kept, however with minimum fuss. The pool area very well designed, 2 pools, ensuring maximum peace and quiet even for those without children. Pool bar offered a range of snacks at lunch time, delivered with minimum fuss, by friendly and polite staff. Location of the apartment meant it was a short stroll into the village that was home to many lovely restaurants, suiting all budgets! This was our second visit to Praia Da Luz and we will certainly come back again.

“Another carefree Holiday at Liz and Iain,s apartment.” This is the second time we have stayed in the apartment and it still maintains a very high standard. Liz and Iain do their best to ensure you feel welcome and ensure that you have everything available to allow you to relax and enjoy their apartment and the surrounding area. From arrival to departure you feel completely at home as they have thought of everything to guarantee your stay is trouble free and enjoyable. You will need a car if you plan on doing some exploring as the apartment is slightly out of Alvor but there are some local shops and bars for essentials . I hope to return at some point and would not hesitate to recommend , especially for families .

“AWESOME!!!” Great location for the apartment that was immaculate being very clean and tidy with an excellent satellite TV set up and terrific WIFI speed to keep our son happy. The gated community is well kept and quiet with a nice balance of families and other couples staying. Our stay was hosted so well from Maria who met us on our arrival to show us around which was greatly appreciated and nothing was ever a problem when making contact with Maria. We know the area well having been to Vilamoura many times before and the bikes were well used on the cycle paths and various routes around the area. Highly recommended, great location for Laguna and Millennium golf courses and the wonderful Felicia beach.

“Wonderful Peaceful Rural Retreat” This was our third trip to Eastern Algarve and we found everything as described. It was a lovely relaxing holiday with fantastic accommodation. We had everything we could have asked for. The pool was wonderful and the local restaurants warm and inviting. We also had great fun with the barbeque having been to the fish market at Olhao and purchased many strange and wonderful varieties of fish. A car is essential on this holiday and the coast only half an hour's ride away so you can be as relaxed or as busy as you wish. All in all a great holiday and we will return one day soon we hope. “Wonderful apartment - great location !” We booked this accommodation only a few days before our trip and how lucky we were to find this beautiful apartment still available! Nolita helped us throughout the booking with excellent and speedy communication enabling us to book our flights with confidence. On arrival at the airport Nolita's parent's Adalberto and Idalia were there to warmly greet us and drive us to the apartment. They even gave us a tour of Quinta da Lago on the way there which was lovely. On arrival at Quarteira they showed us around the apartment and which has been refurbished to a very high standard and is spotlessly clean and well equipped throughout. The views out to the beautiful beach just metres away were lovely and the sunsets amazing each evening. It was so nice to come back to this lovely apartment each evening after a long day out on the beach or after a walk to Vilamoura which is a 30 minute pleasant walk along the promenade. Dont miss the bakery across the road for your hot morning rolls and for afternoon cakes - delicious! There are many restaurants cafes and bars close to the apartment and a car is not necessary if you just want a good rest and Quarteira offers all the peace and relaxation you could wish for and has a traditional Portuguese feel about it. I would highly recommend this apartment if you choose Quarteira for your holiday. Together with the friendliness and warmth of the owners and their daughter Nolita it all adds up to a super holiday!
