“Wonderfully relaxing” Villa Romao had everything we could want for a relaxing, peaceful stay in the Algarvian hills. It lies less than 10 minutes by car outside Loulé, which made a great base for food shopping and other essentials. The villa felt marvellously secluded and calm - perfect for a relaxing holiday away from the stresses and strains of modern life.
Even though we stayed in May, it was warm enough to swim in the unheated pool and the seating area under the trees provided a perfect place to eat dinner and watch the sun setting. Many thanks to Mariela for meeting us in Loulé, conducting us to the villa and getting us settled in.
Villa Romao is, without doubt, an ideal holiday rental for getting away from it all without having to go too far! I'm pretty sure we'll be back again in future.
“Brilliant family holiday in relaxing surroundings for young and old” From the very young to re-cycled teenagers the facilaties could not of been anymore perfect, as a party of six adults and six children ages from 10weeks to 12years, we enjoyed a10 day stay, there was plenty of room for us all too spread out , or get together for an evening meal.
The staff attached too the property could not do enough for us.
“peaceful relaxing break for two” Warm and friendly welcome by Ann and Bob who were very helpful. We were after a very quiet time away for just the two of us and that is exactly what we got. We had complete privacy with the lovely warm pool and large patio with bbq area. A car is essential and there is a great market in Loule for fresh fish, meat and vegetables.
“Perfect 3 generation family week.” The villa is beautiful, comfortable and with all mod cons in a picturesque setting up in the hills a short drive from the coast and also from Faro. We rarely left the villa during our week as it was so easy to buy all provisions from Loule just 10 minutes away & so agreeable to amuse ourselves in the pool or playing badminton or table tennis. The pool with shallow steps at one end is great for a 2 year old while it is deep enough to dive in at the other. There are plenty of books to read & UK TV channels if you want. It is like a home-from-home.
