“Very tastefully furnished apartment located centrally” Lovely spacious clean and comfortable apartment in a great location . Great having a bathroom for each bedroom . My only criticism (and it is only a small one) is that there is only air in the top floor bedrooms . There are ceiling fans in the other bedrooms and free standing fans in the living area but it did still feel unbearably hot, at times . Nevertheless a nice place to stay in a great location with easy access to everthing including the ferry to the beach and the bus station. Loads of lovely cafes and shops nearby.

“Very comfortable for a long term stay.” This modern apartment is very suitable for a long term stay (we were there for 5 weeks i Feb/March)). The location is in a quiet residential neighbourhood which is within an easy walking distance to the town centre. There is a good choice of restaurants and shops to walk to, as is an east/west train stop.. A car is needed for runs to the supermarkets and to get to the beaches. We had a lot of rain and cool weather so it was nice to have comfortable and bright accommodation. The appliances are all new and included a dishwasher and clothes washer. This small city is a very relaxed place with no apparent safety concerns for visitors. There was a good selections of cultural and sports events to participate in and a good number of interesting destinations for day trips. In good weather the roof garden would be very pleasant.

“If it’s countryside you enjoy then this is ideal” Set in the farming community of Corte Vidreiro amongst orange & olive groves the hills around the Casa are ideal for walking, Lucretzia & Ferdinand (the owners) are so generous you help yourself to any fruit or vegetables ready for harvesting and also the chickens supply you every day with eggs. The Casa is very well equipped everything you could possibly require for your stay. We enjoyed a month in the Casa during April with some chilly evenings the wood burner was very welcome, we hope to return again later this year
