“Secluded little gem”

Reviewed 25 Aug 2019

As a family of 3 we spent a relaxing week at this little gem well off the beaten track with only cows, kestrels, swifts and, at night, bats for company. The cabin had everything you could need and more! It was lovely to be welcomed with the essentials to make a drink and biscuits and I was surprised to find tea towels and towels provided for our stay. The garden was equipped with a gas bbq for use and was large enough for us to put out our swingball and tennis set. Go to little haven for the best food! The St Brides Bay is a must if you love fresh sea food but be warned the lanes are very narrow Highly recommend a stay!

“Lovely escape to the country”

Reviewed 1 Jul 2019

We were delighted with Honey Hook Cabin. It was exactly what we were after. It was surrounded by a beautiful farm and had a private garden for us (mainly the dog) to explore. All the facilities were in good condition and it was a short drive away from some fantastic beaches and nature trails/walks.

“Lovely”

We had a lovely time in this cosy cottage. Plenty of room and parking. We were warm and comfortable with all amenities that we needed. Thank you!!

“Peaceful country cabin”

Reviewed 12 Jun 2018

We really enjoyed our five night stay at Honey Hook Cabin. It is small but well equipped. Its not overlooked at all and was so quiet apart from the noise of our two boys! It is a short drive away from some lovely beaches and a beautiful port called Solva.

“Nice”

Reviewed 16 Jul 2017

Nice little cabin that we stayed in for 3 nights, was small but enough for 2 people. All things in the cabin worked properly, the room was warm but we was given a fan, it did get really warm at night. The bed I would say was ok, but wasn't that comfortable so I isn't sleep well. The sofa/bed in the lounge does need updating as it was really uncomfortable to sit on. Great selection of DVDs to watch, great cooking facilities and great that there was a fridge/freezer there. The directions given were easy to follow and the cabin is quite discreet and very peaceful. This cabin is ideal for couples not families. It is a drive to anywhere you want to go to but worth it as the scenery was beautiful, if you plan on staying in the cabin and not going out then take some food as the nearest shop is about 20 mins drive.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review. It's great to hear that you enjoyed the peaceful location of the cabin. We believe that this is one of cabin's best features, meaning that you do need a car or to be a keen walker in order to take advantage of everything that the area has to offer. I'm sorry to hear that you had to travel 20 minutes to get to the nearest shop. As written in the information book, there is a off licence just 5 minutes away plus the local Tesco Extra in Haverfordwest is usually only a 10-15 minute drive from the cabin. However, we always ensure that the cabin Is stocked up with a few essential items like tea, coffee and milk so that our guests do not have to venture too far when they first arrive. I'm very sorry to hear that you didn't have a comfortable nights sleep. The mattress has only recently been replaced but this is something I will look into as it hasn't been brought to my attention before. Having only purchased the sofa bed this season, I'm surprised to hear that you thought it needed to be upgraded. But again, I will look into this further as it is important for me to ensure that all my guests have a comfortable and relaxing stay. I hope to welcome you back at the cabin again soon.
