“Lovely house in great location”

Reviewed 17 May 2018

We enjoyed a delightful few days at Wogan Lodge. The house was great & dealing with Kate the manager was easy and straightforward. We had a 2 year old & two babies, the only minor concern was the bedrooms were not quiet dark enough, getting them off to sleep was difficult. The location was minutes walk to the beach, cafes & shops. Fantastic location. The upstairs bedrooms had sea views........ gorgeous!

“Great family week away”

Reviewed 30 Apr 2018

Had a fab time at Wogan Lodge. House is really well appointed, especially if you have kids in tow. Have stayed at lots of self catering holiday homes over the years so used to packing all the bits they normally never have but I did not need any of them. Spent most of our time on the beach but also had a great day at Folly Farm. Way more than just a farm! Had a few wet days so spent 1 morning with the kids at periwinkle tea rooms in saundersfoot painting pottery. They had so much fun and the staff were great. Will definitely be back.

“A great choice for families”

Reviewed 23 Sep 2017

Three generations of our family enjoyed staying in this lovely property recently, and we all agreed that it suited us perfectly. It is a deceptively spacious property, and even with 6 adults and a very active 2 year-old, it still felt like we had plenty of space and privacy. Wogan Lodge is in a perfect location, minutes from all the amenities that Saundersfoot has to offer and within a stones throw of the sea; it is tastefully decorated, with pretty 'sea-sidey' accessories, clean, and exceptionally well-equipped. I think it should be mentioned however that access to the house is up a steep(ish) very narrow lane, if your car is sizeable I would recommend parking in the village and buying a week's parking ticket for peace of mind, as it is not easy to negotiate in & out of. Saundersfoot itself is a perfect place for a family holiday, and Wogan Lodge a perfect property to stay in whilst you discover its charms.

“More than met our expectations”

Reviewed 6 Sep 2017

The Lodge was perfectly situated and had everything to make a wonderful holiday for our extended age range. Everything had been carefully thought out and more than met our hopes and expectations including very comfortable beds for older bones! Pembrokeshire is a wonderful county and this makes a perfect base for exploring or if preferred to stay put as everything you need can be found in Saundersfot for a family holiday.

“Great house and location”

8 of us visited in early July (ages 3 months to 80). Lovely house with everything you could ask for and very close to the beach and pubs/restaurants. Would definitely recommend the house to others.

“Beautifully comfortable and tasteful seaside home.”

Reviewed 28 Jun 2017

A lovely family house with a light and airy feel to it. Decorated in neutral colours and lime washed floors. Comfortable and well equipped with much thought given to little extra touches such as books, DVDs, games and also the welcome pack so we could have a cup of tea on arrival or better still a glass of wine. Spotlessly clean with lovely white linen and towels. So convenient for town and beach - five minutes walk. A lovely attractive area to sit outside and eat and relax . Even a view of the beach from some of the bedroom windows. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the sun shone!!

“Perfect house for perfect holiday”

Reviewed 4 Jun 2017

Perfect house for a really enjoyable holiday for our two families. Location was ideal, near the beach, for the grandchildren to enjoy crabbing and rock-pooling. We would all love to return.

“An amazing holiday”

Reviewed 16 Apr 2017

I booked this as a surprise for my husbands 40th birthday. We were all so impressed with the spacious feel to the property, how clean it was and how close it was to the beach. We were able to spend most of the holiday not needing to use the cars as there were so many places to walk.A walk to Wise man's bridge is a must and the children could use their scooters. We had everything we needed in the property. A barbecue could be a useful addition especially for the warmer weather. If you have very young children, a cot stair gates, a highchair, booster seat and children's cups, plates and cutlery were all available. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. Very easy to recommend to others.

“Another heavenly stay at Wogan Lodge”

Reviewed 18 Apr 2016

I have just returned from my second stay at Wogan Lodge, this time I travelled with three girlfriends and we had a thoroughly indulgent time! We enjoyed afternoons sitting in the sunshine on the terrace drinking fizz and listening to the sea, and late nights curled up in front of the log burner on the sumptuous sofas. One again Wogan lodge was immaculate, stylish and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen is a treat to cook and dine in, the bedrooms very serene with superbly comfy beds and the showers so powerful they are a treat! We went for soone beautiful walks, shopped in the local craft shops and ate at the fabulous Coast and St Brides - a perfect weekend! I'm already looking forward to my next visit in the summer!

“A perfect house next to a perfect beach - a BRILLIANT holiday!”

Reviewed 16 Jan 2016

We stayed as a family of four for a week in October and had an amazing holiday. Wogan Lodge is a beautiful house and we felt at though we were in our dream home for a week. It is beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable and absolutely spotless. There is nothing the owners haven't thought of; the kitchen is better equipped than ours at home so preparing and eatng meals was such a pleasure. The bedrooms are large, stylish and the beds incredibly comfortable. The living room seats a huge group of people comfortaby and we benefitted from the wood burner every evening! The house is literally a few minutes from the beach and you can see the sea from the house. Saundersfoot beach is stunning and the town itself offers several cafes, pubs, restaurants and nice shops. As a family of 4 with two teenage boys we had a perfect holiday and didn't want to leave, we have already booked to go back twice this year with a bigger group of people that Wogan Lodge will easily be able to accommodate. This is a very special holiday home where you can relax the moment you step through the door because the owners have done everything for you.
