A holiday home arranged on one level and situated in a quiet location, Edith Cottage is just a ten minute, mostly flat walk from the centre of Saundersfoot with its shops, restaurants and beautiful beaches.

Being completely refurbished recently, the property is finished to an extremely high standard. Edith Cottage is a perfect "home from home" base for a family of four or two couples to share having two bedrooms, one double and one twin.

The large kitchen-/diner is fully equipped with large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, hob and washing machine.There is a cozy lounge with oak wood floors and large Freeview TV with DVD player. There is free wi-fi/internet access at the property. Twin room has a wall-mounted TV/DVD player. Family bathroom with bath and overhead shower, sink vanity unit and WC.Large front garden with parking for several cars. Pretty and private back garden backing onto woodland.

“Perfect location, perfect house”

Edith cottage is so perfectly placed, in an extremely quiet cul de sac yet less than 10 minutes walk from the centre of the lovely saundersfoot. Saundersfoot has everything, for kids and adults, the beach is very safe and ideal for young ones. Edith is itself ideal for children, with an enclosed safe garden, no stairs and layout which means you can keep little ones in check easy. The cottage was well equipped, spacious, clean, modern and decor to get you in a holiday mood. 3 nights was not nearly long enough and we will definitely be returning

“Home from home”

We stayed for 3 nights and wish we'd booked a week. Beautiful, clean, fantastically presented. Looked like a show home but felt like home. Loads of nice little touches by Sara made us feel very welcome...even books and DVDs to keep my children occupied in the evenings. Beds lovely and comfy and bedding of hotel quality. Would definitely recommend Edith Cottage and will be back!

“Wonderful weather, fabulous peaceful place to come home to at the end of a day swimming in the sea!”

Came for a week at the end of August & were super lucky with the weather. Edith Cottage was lovely-clean, smart & with everything we needed. Sara Hicks, the property owner was incredibly kind. Very thoughtful and suggested some great places to visit. The brand new Periwinkle's was wonderful. My two girls & I painted pottery whilst we waited for some delicious lunch. The owner & staff were amazing, really friendly & helpful. Absolutely worth a visit. As was The Strand with its array of beautiful shops & unique buys. The cake shop with the enormous cake wedges was a particular hit!! My favourite, Barafundle Bay. My 4 year old & 8 year old were in heaven! It felt safe and was utterly beautiful. The facilities at coppet hall were perfect for some swimming in the sea too. I can't wait to return!

Myself my Hubby and my two kids loved every second at Edith's Cottage. The location is super, the house is perfect for a family. And Sara makes sure you have everything you need and is so easy to chat to. Everything you need for your stay is there it is truly a home from home. We can not wait to return!

“Beautiful Cottage In Lovely Location”

Edith Cottage is a lovely place to stay. The owners have thought of everything making the cottage feel like home from home. The cottage is located in a quiet area of Saundersfoot and within easy walking distance of the village centre which is close to a lovely beach. The village centre has a couple of convenience stores, local shops and several places to choose from to eat out. We also found other beaches within reasonable walking distance which are well worth visiting. This was our first visit to Wales and there is nothing that we didn't like about it, even the weather was perfect.

We stayed at Edith cottage for 3 weeks in August 2015. The cottage is lovely with lots of homely touches, and it has a large kitchen with room to sit the whole family around the table. It is just a short walk or drive to the beach at Saundersfoot. Sara was the perfect host- she dealt with all our questions quickly, and the cottage was spotlessly clean. I would love to stay here again. Thanks Sara!

The Cottage is in a lovey quiet street within a great distance of the beach and short drive to tourist destinations such as Folly Farm and Oakwood. Equipped with some little additions that kept us entertained while the little one was in bed such as DVD's and board games. I had researched long to find the right place for us to stay as I was stressing keeping about bedtime routine for our three year old as she can be, and has been on previous holidays, a bit of a nightmare at bedtime (as im sure most toddlers are!) Im glad I took the time to look and booked with Sara to stay in "little home from home" holiday cottage. Thanks Sara

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sara (the owner) a message.

If Sara (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
