Very Good

“Delightful cottage beautifully modernised and comfortable”

Reviewed 3 Jul 2016

This is one of the best cottages we have rented. It is in a quiet hamlet but close to safe beaches and lovely coast walks. The accomadation has been lovingly restored to a very high standard, comfortable beds and sofas. Sea views from every window, huge garden and sheltered balcony. A lovely peaceful perfect holiday cottage. We have already bookied another stay.

What a wonderful holiday treat! It was a great place to relax, with incredible sea views from every window. The accommodation spacious, very comfortable and tastefully fitted out with all you could possibly need. The little touches such as the welcoming home-baked cake just set the mood for a wonderful holiday. Absolutely zero complaints and it was a pleasure dealing with the owner. Highly recommended for that 'far from the madding crowd' get away.

“Great cottage, super location”

Reviewed 6 Mar 2012

Fantastic cottage, probably the nicest we've stayed in - good quality furnishings and equipment, just like you would have in your own home. Great location, 5-10 minutes stroll from the little beach of Porthpean. near St Austell for shops, supermarkets etc and very well located for trips to the Eden Project and Fowey, among others.

“Great house with fantastic sea views”

Reviewed 12 Jun 2011

The personal touches really set this house apart from other houses, the roaring fire and home made cake really made us feel at home. The views from the house were everything I expected them to be and the house was lovely. If you are looking to stay in this area you will not find a better place to stay. I have already booked my next stay.

“Great location and great views”

Reviewed 1 Jun 2011

Charming cottage with fabulous views of the sea from every window and a short walk to the nearest beach. A lovely touch on arrival is the home made cake. We were particularly unlucky with the weather so were unable to make the most of the veranda or the garden but would imagine this would be a great space to use in the right weather.A great base to easily access the wealth of lovely locations to visit in Cornwall.
