From the owner

Spacious 4 bedroomed detached holiday home situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. Quesnelle is ideally situated for the Gannel Estuary, Crantock beach, Newquay golf course and the world famous Fistral beach. The bustling town centre is only a five minute walk away.

Quesnelle was architect designed in 1954 by Cowell Drewitt and Wheatley, a practise renowned for classic and modern design in Cornwall. It has remained in the family since and today is largely original and furnished with a period look depicting the decades that my family lived in the property. The curved staircase, original green bathroom suite and parquet flooring give it a period look synonymous with the jazz age.

It is perfect for families with children, has 2 spacious gardens both in the front and rear with a covered pergolla in the back garden. A car is not necessary for a Newquay based holiday, however a car is advised if you wish to explore the attractions of the County.As a child (during the 1960's and 70's), I used to spend my summer holidays in this home and have tried my best to re-create the ambience without compromising on modern day comforts.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Robert (the owner) a message.

If Robert (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
