Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
Town: Newlyn is a small village, located next to Penzance. Although small, is it the third largest fishing port in England and plays host to the famous Newlyn school of Art and Newlyn Copper, and the Cornwall Coastal Pathwhich passes through the village, as does the level Mousehole to Marazion cycle path. Within the harbour, you often see sharks, dolphins and grey seals, as well as some splendid beaches nearby, ideal for surfing.
