“It Doesn't Get Much Better Than This!”

Reviewed 5 Oct 2015

In a fantastic, peaceful location, this is a true gem of a place in which to relax, unwind and use as a base to explore and discover the delights of the surrounding Cardigan Bay area. We had a most warm welcome and enjoyed fabulous accommodation: an immaculate, inspired conversion of a traditional farm building - with a wonderful shower and a wood burning stove, a spotless kitchen and comfy seating. Decorated, fitted and furnished with thoughtful good taste, we had all we needed to make our self-catering easy and pleasurable. Added perks were the availability of delicious home cooking, to order from a sizeable menu, plus a plentiful choice of outstanding, fairly priced, organic produce, grown by our hosts on the farm. We saw Grey Seals, Dolphins and Red Kites in spectacular scenery close by and we found scrumptious local food. The Old Dairy was the perfect place for evenings in: warm and cosy with sound system, television and DVD player and a bookcase full of books. All the makings of an excellent holiday - we didn't want to come home!

“Peaceful, comfortable, roomy and lovely”

Reviewed 28 Jul 2015

Comfortable and very spacious for two. Peaceful despite being on a working organic farm. Took advantage of nice extras such as excellent home cooking and organic veg box. Close to beautiful beaches and coastal walks. The property itself would suit someone with limited mobility. Easy to see dolphins from on shore. Hosts very welcoming but not intrusive. We would definitely go back.

“idyllic farm cottage close to glorious coastal scenery”

Reviewed 15 May 2015

We stayed a week in a newly converted, comfortable farm cottage on an organic farm, about mile from the coast. Nearby, we had the small beaches of Cwmtddu and Cwmsilio, both owned by the National Trust, virtually to ourselves - along with seabirds, Red Kites and Choughs. The coastal path to both New Quay and Llangrannog was well marked and offered dramatic views. Anywhere else this would be a national park. All this plus a good local pub two minutes from the Farm. And did I mention the excellent food that the Farm can supply... Thank you Alicia and Nathan for a lovely holiday .

“highly recommended rural escape”

Rural idyll - comfortable, well presented and clean character property with wonderful organic vegetables on the doorstep as well as the odd visiting chicken. Set in glorious countryside with breathtaking coastline nearby. Seals and dolphins completed the perfect break. Lack of internet and mobile signal helped make this a true escape. Highly recommended.

“Lovely Cottage in Beautiful Location”

Booked the cottage for my boyfriends birthday. Had a lovely stay. The cottage is beautiful with wonderful countryside views. We arrived early so went to New Quay and were delighted to see dolphins in the bay. We had a great welcome from the farm chickens and Bean the dog! Thanks to Alicia for the wonderful cookies as well. We enjoyed trying out the log burner in the cottage, very cosy. There is a beautiful beach about 45mins walk from the cottage, where we saw a seal bobbing in the sea, and a local pub (5 mins walk) serving lovely food. We also enjoyed the vegetables we got from the onsite Farmacy which we brought home with us. Thanks again for a great stay.

“Beautiful, relaxing cottage in lovely part of the country”

The cottage was perfect, can highly reccommend, beautiful surroundings, ideal for escaping and remembering how enjoyable and comforting life can be, would return in a heartbeat.

“A relaxing place to stay!”

Reviewed 18 Aug 2014

My partner and I spent 5 days at the Old Dairy which is a beautifully converted barn on a working organic farm. The accommodation was spectacular with a modern home from home feel about it. Alicia and Nathan went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as good as possible and we couldn't believe how quiet the location was... just what we needed! I couldn't recommend this place enough and we're hoping to visit again in the future with family/ friends.

“perfect setting”

Friendly hosts, great location for coast, good local pub and lovely accommodation. Hope everyone gets the weather we had.

“A fabulous house in a wonderful peaceful location.”

An excellent spacious stylish modern conversion all on one level of an old stone dairy. Immaculate interior with wood burner in lovely rural setting, with superb local wildlife, near to exquisite coastline. Lovely welsh New quay and tiny unspoilt Llangrannog are both within walking distance on coast or pretty little lanes. Good local bus services also useful so can travel further or in single direction. Fresh produce market on Llangrannog beach edge not to be missed. Vegetables from host farm also delightful.

“Just wow....”

Reviewed 31 May 2014

The Old Dairy was everything we hoped it would be...spotless, in a gorgeous setting, with a fab wet room (shower that you could stay in all day) with loads of places to see and just so relaxing. Barn conversion that is out of this world.
