“Fantastic cottage & rural location” We stayed at the cottage for a long weekend and absolutely loved it. It was perfect for a family getaway with a toddler; Mair provided a travel cot, high chair, bathroom stool and stair gate. The cottage was clean, modern and homely and Mair was on hand for anything we needed in the farmhouse next door. Our toddler loved Toby the farm dog (who was so gentle and playful) and all the lambs and sheep in the field just beyond the back garden. The views were incredible! Mair provided freshly made cakes for our arrival, which were delicious. Amazing hot tub! We enjoyed the rural location and it was only a 15 minute drive to Aberystwyth or 10 minutes to Borth (sandy beach!) and 35 minutes to Aberdovey with beautiful views. We would love to come back and visit again! Really recommend.
“Relaxing stay” Doleos cottage was just what we were looking for, a relaxing stay in the countryside close to the seaside. My Partner and I stayed for 3 nights. The owner Marylin met us on arrival on the first day and quickly without too much fuss explained everything we needed to know about the cottage.
Nice touch to find a welcome pack of bread, milk, jam and Welsh butter. The cottage is bright and airy with excellent facilities, comfy beds and a nice outdoor seating area where you can hear the birdsong.
We will definitely book again for s short stay next year.
“A lovely peaceful place to stay” Marilyn made us very welcome and then kept a discreet distance. All was immaculately clean, with some lovely unexpected added touches, such as a fresh loaf of bread, butter and milk, not to mention a selection of easy reading holiday style books. We had our dogs with us, and they were welcome, subject to some very understandable rules of house-training etc. Would definitely recommend
“Peaceful location” We spent a lovely sunny week here at the end of april. The bungalow is warm, homly and comfortable with lambs for neighbors and stunning views of the valley and hills beyond. It's a short walk to the Druids Inn in Goginan which we'd recommend for a meal or two or three!
It's also very convenient for visiting students at aberystwyth University, walking and exploring the countryside.
Owners very friendly. We have our next stay booked.
