Self catering cottage with home from home facilities, including free Wi-Fi (signal boosted in 2019) single bedroom on ground floor, with a double and twin bedroom on the first floor, family bathroom with shower over bath. 5 acres of grassland running down to a stream, kept for wildlife, with pathways cut in for easy walking, picnic benches and a BBQ (shared with one other cottage). An area for ball games, garden furniture, ample parking and a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble drier which are free to use. Overlooking a pretty garden area, the delightful stable conversion is ideally situated to explore this lovely area of Cornwall, including Looe and Polperro with lovely sandy beaches. The International St Mellion golf course is approx. 8 miles away and there are several other golf courses close by. On the north coast you have the surfing capital of the UK at Newquay. The Eden project is approx. 24 miles away and there are many National Trust properties in the area. The town of Liskeard is 5 minutes/2 miles away for all your shopping needs, with supermarkets and lots of smaller independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Local takeaways in the area deliver so you don't have to cook. Let the children run free in the large grounds, and make as much noise as they want, while you sit back and relax. We don't have pages and pages of rules just make yourself at home!

Dogs are very welcome, as long as they're well behaved and house trained. A couple of small dogs or one medium dog would be ok. Whilst we welcome dogs, they aren't allowed on furniture, including beds.

The 5 acres of grassland is great for children and dogs to run wild and burn off some energy! The beach at Looe is sandy and the crab fishing from the harbour is fun for adults and children alike. The wilderness of Bodmin Moor & Dartmoor await you. We are close to many National Trust properties the famous Eden Project is only 24 miles away. Plymouth with its Historic Hoe, Naval Dockyard & the Barbican is 18 miles away. Fishing and watersports are available locally and the world famous St Mellion golf course is only 8 miles away and the Looe golf course 4 miles. There are some great restaurants locally, supermarkets and farmers markets to get your fresh food.

    How do damage deposits work?

    If Leah (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
