About the Home

Daisy Chain, Cotswold Family Holidays, is a luxury 5 bedroomed contemporary glass fronted home with wonderful uninterrupted views over a large lake. It is situated on the private Lower Mill Estate Nature Reserve in Cotswolds Water Park and is perfect for Cotswold Family Holidays.

The House

Daisy Chain sleeps nine in five bedrooms, with two ensuite bathrooms and one family bathroom. There are two double rooms, a twin bedded room, a bunkbed room and a single room. There is also a cot and a travel cot if required. Families are very welcome and the property is well equipped to make your holiday that little bit easier. The accommodation is spread over three floors with the living accommodation on the first floor to make the most of the amazing views over the lake. Unlike many properties the house enjoys uninterrupted views of the Somerford Lagoon, the largest lake on the estate and we provide a Canadian canoe so that you can explore it.

The Art Spa

As part of your holiday you have free access to the award winning multi million pound Spa: featuring 3 pools - slate lined heated indoor and outdoor pools and a reed lined eco plunge pool. A sauna and steam room are also available. There is also a well equipped techno gym and a library. Treat yourself to some of the Spa treatments (at additional cost)

The open plan lounge, kitchen, dining room provides a wonderful space for relaxed family living. The lounge has a vaulted ceiling and sliding glazed doors leading to the upper sun deck and fabulous views over the lake. It has a wood burning stove and oak flooring. The lounge comes fully equipped with a large flat screen Smart TV and free wireless broadband access is provided.

The modern kitchen is well equipped whether you decide to do lots of cooking or to make use of home made frozen ready meals available to purchase at the estate shop. There is a dishwasher as well as a fridge and a separate freezer. You can order your groceries online and they will be delivered to your door.

The dining room is well equipped with an oak table that comfortably seats 10.

On the ground floor you will find 3 bedrooms. A double room with ensuite bathroom has glazed sliding doors leading to the sun deck. The single room also has access to the sun deck, and then there is a twin bedded room. Downstairs you will also find a family bathroom with a fitted shower and screen and a utility room with a washer dryer.

On the second floor there is a master bedroom with ensuite shower room and vaulted ceiling. This room looks down onto the living area below and out to the lake beyond.

There is one further bunk room situated on the first floor.

There are melamine plates for children, plastic cups, bowls, toddler cutlery, a high chair, stair gates, duplo bricks, children sized table and chairs, children's books as well as some board games for those a little older!

The house will be equipped with washing up liquid, hand soap in all the bathrooms, hand towels in the bathrooms, utility room and kitchen, kitchen roll, t-towels, oven gloves, toilet roll in each of the bathrooms....all to make your life a little easier from the start of your holiday.

Access to the estate is via a key code so there is limited traffic making it a perfect area for children to ride bikes. There are play areas with climbing frames, swings and trampolines as well as table tennis and tennis courts to enjoy.
