The property is meticulously maintained each year with decoration works to the interior and close attention to the outside areas.
The open plan living area is light and spacious, offering plenty of room for guests to relax, dine and prepare a feast in the fully equipped kitchen. The inside space connects beautifully with the terraces and swimming pool beyond through large glass doors and windows that also open up the sea views from inside the property.
A particularly nice additional feature of the villa is a games room with pool table, darts and table tennis.
Villa Limon is set in its own secure grounds over three levels accessed by steps. It offers several outside spaces, including large balcony areas with additional sun beds and comfortable seating areas from the first floor, a stunning roof terrace as well as pool terrace with sun beds and parasols and al fresco dining area at the ground floor level. Location description from owner
The Turkish Mediterranean Coast region
This part of Turkey's coastline is sometimes known as The Turkish Riviera and deservedly so. The coastline is stunningly beautiful with azure blue waters and the majestic Taurus mountains as a backdrop. The climate is beautiful from May through to October with summer temperatures reaching 40deg C. The rugged coastline is as lovely from the sea as it is from onshore but there is more to this region than the fantastic views which abound. There are plenty of places of interest, particularly if you like visiting ancient sites such as Patara, Kas, Tlos, Letoon and Xanthos which are all fairly nearby and can be reached by private car or taxi. Alternatively a day at Saklikent Gorge walking through icy waters to cool down in midsummer is always a treat and the scenery enroute is beautiful.
Kalkan was originally a fishing village and although it has grown into a popular holiday destination it still retains its traditional charm and the old quarter remains unspoilt with its winding streets, overhanging balconies and charming old houses. A typical night out would include maybe a pre-dinner drink on your terrace watching the sun go down or a cocktail down at the harbour followed by supper at one of the many restaurants for which Kalkan is justifiably famous. As you walk through the town appetising aromas entice you, the atmosphere is irresistible! And for daytimes, if you tire of sunbathing and relaxing then a boat trip is a must. A Lazy Day at Sea in Kalkan Bay is a favourite but you can go further afield to the sunken city of Kekova too. There is a great choice of beach clubs which offer water sports, restaurants and bathing platforms. Never a dull moment.

- Very Good
This was our second visit to Villa Limon, we went last year with the family and were not disappointed, in fact we were all surprised at the standard of the Villa, in our experience pictures do not always tell the full story. The Villa is set in the mountains, with only a 5 minute drive into Kalkan. Plenty of lovely restaurants and bars, Supermarkets very good, (and value for money). On the basis of our last holiday we decided to visit again this year in September as a couple (were concerned that the Villa would be too large - but it wasn't at all). The Villa has been decorated throughout and a lot of the furnishings replaced, (although the old were lovely), the refurb has been done with style and taste and only added to the feeling of luxury. Pool and Villa cleaned and kept to a very high standard, we will return.
“Five Star Villa”
We stayed at Villa Limon earlier this month and it was an amazing experience to stay there. The quality of the villa is of high standard. The views over the bay are beautiful - especially the town of Kalkan & harbour. Sunbeds, chairs and crockery are well kept & maintained. We enjoyed doing BBQ on the terrace most days (as provided by the villa) with the beautiful seaview & night view of the town. The weather was sunny, hot mid 20's and we had several excursions including boat trips, visiting historical sites, saklikent gorge etc. Enough of information and advice was provided by the owner & above all Wi-Fi was available (may need booster for the Wi-Fi signals as they get weaker indoors). Staff was courteous. Highly recommended by all of us.
“Gorgeous, luxerious villa with fabulous views - can't wait to go back!”
I've stayed at Villa Limon three times now and it is fabulous. The attention to detail and the quality of the villa is second to none. The views over the bay are amazing - especially at sunset. Plenty of sunbeds, chairs and crockery etc for the nine of us - unlike at some places we have stayed. We ate on the terrace most days looking out over the bay. The weather was good and we arranged several excursions. Lots of information and advice was provided by the owner. Highly recommended.
“Holiday heaven, did not won't to come home.”
Beautiful villa, excellent views, It felt like being at home. We were so comfortable and relaxed. Having never experienced a villa holiday before I can quite honestly say I would be quite reluctant to go to a hotel again. We loved it so much we have booked it again for next year. Kalkan is a lovely town, restaurants galore and very friendly people. The villa is sited on a hill so you get a lovely breeze from the sea. The pool is gorgeous, the feeling of privacy is excellent. The villa has a lovely little landscaped garden and all mod cons, so staying in is just as nice as going out. Although we did not go afar, we did go to Patara beach just 15 mins away which was lovely. There are lots of excursions that are easily arranged by yourselves in the town itself. Local beach clubs are a short boat ride away. The transfer which the villa owner arranged for us was very reasonable, comfortable and on time on arrival and return. Kalkan and Villa Limon know how to take care of its guests!
“A truly wonderful villa with breathtaking views over Kalkan”
We first visited Kalkan and Villa Limon in October 2010. This was our first trip to Turkey and we could not have chosen better. Kalkan is a delightful little town with narrow streets leading down to the harbour. Villa Limon is a beautiful Villa set in an elevated position with breathtaking views over Kalkan. We enjoyed our stay so much that we returned again in June of this year and were not disappointed. We feel very privilieged to have been able to stay in Villa Limon and hope to return again.
“Sun, sea, spectacular views - great food and history too.”
Villa Limon provided an ideal setting for a group of friends to gather on the Med and explore the Lycian Way from the comfort of an elegant villa above Kalkan Bay. The views were wonderful, the villa comfortable and well set out for a group - discreet bedrooms and separate bathrooms - with both indoor and outdoor/poolside shared living spaces. The villa was well maintained - the garden was also a treat. It's a stylish property that feels like a home rather than a rent. Kalkan is an excellent location from which to explore a range of key historical sites, to enjoy a variety of good restaurants and local food and to do some sailing out on the Med, Plenty of markets along the coast for food lovers and cooks like we were and ready access to some fascinating local culture.
