“Brilliant return visit- the views get better and better” This is our third visit to lovely Villa Tara and we will be back next year. The villa has lots of space to cater for our family and friends. Spread over 4 floors means noise does not travel even with 8 of us staying. The teenagers love the pool and the short walk to Kalamar Beach Club for water sports. They also use the local hotel for tennis. My wife loves the peace of the villa which is ideal for relaxing. The TV is huge- perfect for a night in to watch a good DVD- there is a good choice of DVDs and books in the villa. At night we love chilling out on the roof terrace with a drink. The view is panoramic- must be the best in Kalkan. It is only a short walk to the local restaurants- good value and good food. Kalkan is just a bit further- get a taxi back its only £4. Yet again a fantastic holiday and cant wait for next year.
“Perfect Stay” I feel so lucky to have booked our week stay in South Turquie at Kalkan Retreat : it exceeded our expectations and there was not a worry or disappointment. The kitchen is a real one with a large area to prepare food with friends while enjoying the view at the Sea.
The layout of the Villa is very practical and spacious. The maintenance team from Karsan is top , Swimming pool was checked regularly .
The area is very quiet and less touristic than the center of Kalkan. We enjoyed going to the Free Beach down the road on the right side , Water was like in a postcard ...
I never wrote a guest feedback before , this is my first time ... i took the time to do it because we really appreciated the quality of our stay at this place and thought the Owner disserves a recognition : Bravo Pauline !
“Fantastic Villa, highly recommended” We booked Villa Zeytin Koru as a party of 8 people - a 2 and a 4 year old, 14 year old and other family members and it was extremely suitable for everyone. The villa is fantastic, it has the most lovely view of the sea from the outside eating area just off the lounge. This was where we spent most of the time when sitting as it had a great canopy to give you a bit of a rest from the Turkish sun!
I really can not fault the villa - it was big, spotlessly clean, the beds were really comfortable, extremley well equipped even to the point of having some plastic plates and bowls for my 2 year old to use... there was a Wii, dvd player, Sky tv, toys, books, magazines - the most well equipped villa I have stayed in.
The pool was fantastic, a really good size with lots of sunbeds and cleaned everyday. There are a few pool toys also which the children appreciated playing with.
Tracy who looks after you in the resort is English and brilliant, extremely helpful and it's peace of mind to know someone is there should you need anything in an emergency.
It took about 20 minutes to walk into Kalkan, the town is stunning by the harbour, so pretty with amazing restaurants - the food was top quality. We often caught a taxi back as it's easier coming down the hill than walking back with pushchairs! ;-)
The booking procedure was also faultless and Stuart was very informative from the very start of the booking with information to the end.
You won't be dissapointed if you stay at this villa and we are rather fussy!
The house was very clean and tidy. We had everything we needed. We felt at home in the first few hours. I definitely want to go back. Highly recommended. …

VILLA READY, KALAMAR BAY, KALKAN
A lovely villa in a great location
The villa is extremely well maintained with everything you need for a great holiday. The views are spectacular and the owners and their representative could not help enough. Every small detail was attended to quickly and without fuss. I would recommend hiring a car if you want to dine in town every night or go sight-seeing. There are several decent restaurants nearby and a good beach club is also walking distance. …
Blue Manzara - luxury Kalkan villa for 10
Outstanding villa - everything we needed for the perfect holiday
We travelled to Blue Manzara for the half term holidays with two families of 5, with children ranging from 10 to 4. All of us had the most fantastic time - the villa is finished to an amazing standard - beautiful comfortable spacious bedrooms, lovely big bathrooms with powerful showers, a huge terrace with the most incredible views. Great BBQ area, pool and jacuzzi and so many activities including the table tennis, pool table, books and games to play with. Every detail seems to have been considered so every time we thought 'we could do with one of these' - there it was in the villa. The owner Caroline was so helpful throughout the booking process and gave loads of advice on what to do and arranged our transfers for us too - nothing was too much trouble. Kalkan was full of really great restaurants (either with or without the kids) and we also enjoyed going out on the sailing boats for a day. All in all highly recommended! …
Villa Zeytin Koru, spacious 4 bed (all ensuite)
Go and see for yourself you will not be dissappointed!
We arrived at night so the welcome pack was a god send, we dumped our cases and headed straight out to the Yelkin bistro it was the nearest we could see, it was really nice food. The next morning we couldn't wait to get up and see the views, sitting on the balcony with a cup of tea looking out to sea what more could you want it felt like paradise. The villa more than met our expectations, it has everything you need, we loved the outside space and the decent size pool, it is in a perfect location. The villa felt like home and all the bedrooms are a decent size. There are several bars and restaurants close by so if you don't feel like the walk into town there is no need to. We ended up making Café Vita our local, if we didn't eat in there we always ended up in there for a night cap, such lovely and friendly people and the food is superb, you must go on bar b q night, really good value. We also recommend Ekin Han hotel, the views are wonderful and again the food was superb it was funny meeting a Turkish Scouser (one of the owners) being Scousers ourselves! Another local restaurant to try is The Brothers again really nice food and people, it was funny watching one of the waiters trying in vain to stop a small puppy coming into the restaurant he had to give up in the end! Highlight of out stay was a return to Adams Place it has to be our favourite restaurant he is based on the road to Kas and he will come and pick you up, the restaurant is ran by Adam and his family and nothing is too much trouble, the views are outstanding and the food is divine.Lots of other restaurants in town but too many too mention all of them really nice food and friendly people.
Kalkan is such a beautiful place, we love place, the food, the people and the wildlife we even found wild tortoises living in the bottom garden. We have all thoroughly enjoyed and had a very relaxing holiday at Zeytin Koru and will certainly like to return in the future. Thank you :) …
Great villa and great people
We stayed a fortnight with 4 young kids (aged from 20 months to 9 years) and the villa has plenty of room for all with some spare. Initially, we had few teething problems with the electricity and wi-fi but speedy responsiveness of the care taker and owner more than made up for any minor issues. No request was too much and the eagerness to ensure a pleasant stay for us made the villa a very enjoyable place to stay.
Initially, apprehensive about the depth of the pool but it turned out to be a gift. The kids can jump into the pool from any side.
The only recommendation I have is that although it says it fits under the criteria of "suitable for under 5 year olds", there is of course a huge difference between a 4 year old and a toddler. The villa is arranged over 4 floors with marble staircases/floor throughout. Any water spillage makes the floor very slippery. IMO, parents need to make their own judgement as to suitability for kids under 3 years. To be fair, this would be true for most villas in Kalkan as they are likely to be built over very steep hill.
Overall, I would highly recommend the villa to others. …
