“This has been the best villa out of the six we have stayed in so far in Turkey” Fantastic villa to stay in. Well equipped, comfortable and fairly close to the town centre. As with most of the other villas in Kalkan, the ten minute walk to town can be a little strenuous. Fine on the way there as its all down hill but the return can be challenging on hot summer days. Lots of taxis though so this need not be a problem. We were surprised and pleased that the villa was equipped with wifi and a docking station for iPhone/iPod. This was brilliant for music and keeping in touch. Other entertainment included extensive DVDs and flat acreenTV for if you want to watch films. The villa was immaculately presented and unobtrusively attended by the local English speaking agent who was only a phone call away at any time in the event of any problems. The very private pool area is spacious even with six loungers and parasols set up. Shaded outdoor dining is perfect, so too is the master bedroom balcony Also, the furnished roof terrace area with lovely views over the town and bay is a great place to watch the sun go down with a cocktail at the end of a busy day relaxing. Review based on couple with two twenty something daughters staying for ten nights.

Great views and excellent layout
Great villa, really liked its layout and flow. The three bedrooms are nicely distanced from each other and the main living space, particularly liked the main bedroom as it has the whole first floor to itself, plus a great balcony. Three outdoor spaces with different perspectives, the main bedroom balcony has great views, as does the roof terrace and pool area, always felt there was somewhere interesting to sit and take it all in. The front garden is shady and frames the villa nicely, makes the whole place feel private. Excellent location, easy walk to the old town or beach. Nicola was really helpful and her communication before and during our stay was excellent. This was our third trip to Kalkan and by far the most comfortable and relaxed. Highly recommend. …
Villa Surya Kalkan
Very nice villa with greath views over the ocean. The villa is superb and the people of the tiny village of Kalkan is friendly with restaurants full of nice seafood and good shopping. The nearby beaches is beautiful.

Well what can i say? We stayed at the Villa in May for a week and to be honest did not have high expectations of Turkey. We'd stayed in Antalya previously and it was over commercialised. Waking up to this spectacular bay view, delightful pool, in the wonderful house with high ceilings and views to die for, was simply perfect.
The landlord couldn't have been more helpful with recommendations for restaurants, hire car, directions and general advice. The location is on the side of a hill, roads are a bit bumpy, but perfectly located for visiting the superb restaurants around Kalkan in the evening. Taxis are also abundant if you don't want to drive.
The restaurant and bar scene in Kalkan is uber cool - not what we expected - and we hired a yacht one day for £200 for 6 of us including all our freshly cooked food and drinks. Amazing!
This place is very special and we won't hesitate in going there again next year. Just lovely!! …
