Holsworthy Holiday Cottages at Southcombe Farm

The Homestead is an amazing 2 bedroom luxury self catering cottage. It is really comfortable and has lovely country views.

The Homestead sleeps 4 with plenty of space and comfort. Perfect for small families, friends or couples. The ground floor is open plan with a country kitchen, dining area, sunny lounge with two comfortable leather sofas, stereo, TV, DVD, log burner and of course fantastic views out over the surrounding countryside. Upstairs are the cosy, but spacious bedrooms with views out on to the surrounding farmland. The bathroom is lovely too, fully tiled, and spotlessly clean!

Although the Homestead is bright and airy, it is also warm having been insulated to the highest standards. Whenever you visit, whatever the weather, you will be very comfortable.

Outside the Homestead has its own private garden and west facing veranda, perfect for that sunny evening drink! Don't forget, as well as the garden you have a whole 50 acre farm to explore complete with stream, childrens playhouses and tyre swing! We are also happy for guests to help us with feeding the farm animals.

Heating, bed linen, towels and robes are all included.

Remember we are in a great spot with lots to do all around, great countryside, fantastic beaches, fishing, horse riding, walking, surfing, canoeing, country houses, gardens and fresh air!

Why can't I call Paul (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Paul (the owner) a message.

If Paul (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
