Lovely,home from home, peaceful cottage on purpose built site at Kenegie Manor Park, Gulval, 1 mile from Penzance, 7 miles from St Ives.You will have full use of Kenegie Manors facilities (Easter-Oct), inlcuding Swimming pool,Tavern, Sauna / Tennis courts and hot tub.

Tolpedn is a fully equipped, self contained cottage, Price includes all electric, linen, towels, fully equipped kitchen and has a private parking space outside cottage.

A high-chair and travel cot is available free of charge upon request before arrival.

Open all year for bookings, short breaks available out of season. Sorry no dogs.


Im sure you all understand the current situation and we have to abide by current legislation. As it stands at the present time we hope to be open by mid-July.

Adjustments to the current cottage description have to made at the present time, therefore, for your information the Swimming pool, Sauna and Hot tub will be closed until further notice, the bar and restaurant will be open but restrictions imposed, so please get access advice from Kenegie reception.

Tolpedn Cottage including kitchen areas will not be as fully equipped as normal therefore their will be no iron, ironing board, airer, radio or hairdyers in the property. There will also be no high chair or travel cot available. The kitchen will only have equipment for the relevant number of people to reduce the chances of transmission. and the welcome pack normally present will only be the basics (tea, coffee, sugar and milk).

For your reference, please contact any relevant activities/restaurants you wish to visit before arrival to check requirements needed to enable access and to avoid disappointment. Please also bring face covering for when they are required.

whilst Covid19 restrictions are in place, all guests will need to have a temperature check on arrival and fill out a track and trace form this is to adhere to government rulings. Details of how to do this will be advised a short time before arrival.
Please bring face coverings with you for use when required. Ensure you are feeling well and not showing symptoms before making the journey, any questions or queries regarding the restrictions in this area i will be more than happy to answer.

The 4th time we have stayed here in the last 3 years. Great value for money and the owner Karen is the hostess with the mostess - her welcome pack great as long as you ignore the calories in the clott… More

Tolpedn is not directly part of Kenegie Manor however i will pass on your comments to the management team regarding the meals, thank you for your opinion, it is appreciated especially with regular visitors to the park and Tolpedn cottage. The dampness issue has already been spotted and is being sorted as we speak,any problem normally shows itself at this time of year, and i fully agree with you as regards driving with caution along many of the small Cornish roads, including the one through Gulval. It was lovely to meet you, and I do hope to welcome you again in the near future, thank you once more for your review.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Karen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
