South View annexe offers attractive accommodation which is not only welcoming but also has that homely practical feel, all within attractive contemporary open plan living, the space is magnificent. A property which makes for a great retreat in a peaceful rural location. Wake up in a king size bed and look out the bedroom window to spectacular country views over the valley. The room is well proportioned with ample wardrobe and storage space and TV. A bathroom that offers not only a walk in shower but a full size bath for that relaxing soak A well equipped kitchen alongside a dining area with seating for up to four people. Your lounge area consists of two comfy sofa's, WiFi, TV, with DVD player and an i pod docking station so you can relax with your favourite music. An added bonus is a large covered al fresco eating area, ideal to enjoy relaxing evenings and informal BBQ's.

We live at the property and will be there to show you in and make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. We are very aware our guests have their own space, so once you are settled in we like to leave you to enjoy your holiday but it’s good to know that if there are any little problems or emergencies we are on hand to help out if you need us. Or you may just want some directions or suggestions of where to go what to see, we are happy to share our local knowledge. Most of all we want you to have a great time while you are staying with us. We welcome responsible dog owners with well behaved pets, we do have a few house rules, such as please don’t allow your pets on the sofa’s or beds.
We make a small charge of £5 per dog, per night for pets to cover extra cleaning costs, payable on arrival.
We have a returnable security deposit for pet owners of £75, payable on arrival.
All guests to be 18 or over. Maximum two adults.

Thank you for your comments, which have been noted. We would have been more than happy to address any issues had you mentioned them while you were here staying with us. Guests generally request extra linen when needed for a two week stay. None of our guests have ever mentioned the bed or the sofa’s are uncomfortable, in fact many of our guests have told us they found the bed very comfortable. The core of our business is repeat clientele whom we are sure would bring any issues to our attention while they are here. We are waiting for the decorator to repaint the al fresco area but as with so many businesses after covid he has staff shortages but has assured me he will be here as soon as possible. The road is council maintained and no different this year to last. We wish you well with future holidays and if you do decide to ever revisit you will be very welcome as when I spoke to you told me you still love it here.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Gill (the owner) a message.

If Gill (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
