Beautiful, spacious bungalow located in the highly respected Weston-Super-Mare village of Bleadon. This property is comfortably furnished for four persons in spacious executive ground floor accommodation.

With parking for 2 cars to the front and direct access to the town centre, beach and the surrounding towns.

We are delighted to offer the following facilities for guests; From the entrance door and into the central reception area you can access the well-furnished lounge, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen/dining room, double bedroom and twin bedroom.

Full Details:One Master Bedroom ,one Twin Bedroom .

Lounge with Log Fire . Kitchen with Dining Table, bio fold doors to outside seated area . bath and separate walk-in shower. Private Rear Garden Wifi Access

Our risk assessment following civil 19 ....we always do a deep clean ...but guests Must strip beds put on washing machine..

Bring their own towels when possible.

Empty dishwasher and empty bins and dispose in the outside bin.

Excellent bungalow - very clean and had everything we needed and a great garden to relax in on an evening. Lovely location set away from the hustle and bustle of Weston Super Mare. Lots of great walks and quiet beaches nearby (Brean and Burnham).

A well presented and maintained bungalow in an absolutely stunning village. Very clean and well equipped BUT... Sadly I was totally unable to relax. The property is full of the owners personal belongings (including her car on the drive) making us feel like intruders in someone else’s home. However it’s the total lack of privacy that spoilt our holiday, we actually left 3 days early because of the proximity and noise from neighbours on 3 sides. Every window looks directly into the neighbours houses, as a surveyor I know this wouldn’t comply with modern building regulations and with few blinds or shutters there’s nowhere to get dressed without closing all of the curtains. The neighbours to the rear who’s windows open directly into the garden, have their windows open 24/7 and you can hear them using the toilet and shower and can also hear their baby crying. The other two neighbours are less than 3 metres away on either side. I struggle to see how this let can be described as luxury with so many close neighbours, a train line and a flight path from Bristol airport on top of you. There are many luxury properties on Bleadon Hill but this is not one of them. Certainly not the place to get away from it all. From the breakfast table we could see and hear the neighbour using the toilet. Possibly the addition of plantation shutters at every window and tall, dense planting around the garden boundary could improve this. Very disappointed and out of pocket.

Owner's reply: This is a very poor review ...from someone who in my opinion needs to book a remote location. You can't please everyone. The only guests in the last 3 years to write such a review..... Normal people close curtains to dress and there's lots of blinds and curtains . In fact we put blinds in after a guest suggested this. The property it self is beautifully located and kept well maintained. We do not want shutters as we love the views over to Wales in fact it's nice to see new year celebrations in Wales! And the air show so if your elderly and can't get out you still get to see what's going on in the world. All our neighbours are lovely. I think it's fair to say you were disappointed.. However I am glad to say we have provided a home from home to many many guests over the years and I am very proud and happy to say they come back. It's a great location but not in your opinion. I am sorry you felt like an intruder as we always aim to please and welcome guests. We actually got rid of all the hedging and opened it up as there is a private fenced area at the back to relax. I have had many a beautiful days and evenings enjoying a glass of wine watching the sunset. Please book a remote location next time as April Rise is not remote . This statement about seeing neighbours using the toilet is not true this is a very inappropriate comment. Not true and I will be asking TripAdvisor to remove it.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
