An imposing country house fronted by verandahs with sea views over Lundy Island and beyond.

Situated on 2 acres of garden with a gated entrance, the house offers privacy and peace, whilst being easy distance to the Coastal path and shopping facilities.

Recently renovated in a country modern style, taking into account the needs of modern families with open plan kitchen and casual dining - double ovens, spacious worktops and kitchen entertaining areas. A separate formal dining room and in kitchen dining caters for both families and adults.

Relax in the private drawing room or take advantage of the luxury master suite with stunning ensuite. Bathe in the over-sized tub and look out to the garden with sea vistas.

If its a family escape or an event this country house offers it all. Guests have all the services available they require, professionally cleaned, deli deliveries and dine in services on request. A local manager can organise other activities including helicopter excursions, Lundy Island trips and or in-house beauty treatments. Saunton Sands golf course can be reached within 40 minutes and offers one of the best courses in the UK alongside a brand new wellness centre.

The bedrooms are offered on the upper floor and all rooms that offer single beds can be zipped together for king size beds, so groups and families can be configured in a number of options.

In addition to this country house a hot tub is available in the extensive outdoor areas including deck areas and bbs.

The popular Greencliff is a walk across the paddocks or a short drive. You can access the famous surf breaks or the coastal path. The white sands of Westward Ho are also a short drive away.

Our local Thatched Inn is a walk from the house where good pub food and a summer entertaining area is available.

“Just gorgeous!”

Set down a little country lane you find this gem of a house. Wonderfully private, yet close to the odd beach, village and town if needed. It’s a beautiful home; warm, calm, but welcoming. Rose has done a great job of restoring/ updating the house (she told us a little about what it was like when they bought it). There are thoughtful touches, stylish rooms and comfy beds. What more could you ask for? Ah yes, the garden.....plenty of space for any youngsters who may tag along. All in all, a fabulous find. I highly recommend it for a peaceful getaway.

“‘A Great Escape’”

By far our favourite stay while we were exploring the UK. Rose has done a wonderful job of renovating/restoring a gorgeous house. Modernising throughout while retaining the charm of yesteryear. The house offers complete privacy and is located so there is lots to explore nearby. We stayed as couple and would definitely love to return with a group of friends. “Wonderful weekend getaway”

This lovely, warm and cosy yet spacious home provided us with the perfect weekend away. We were greeted by Rose who was absolutely amazing. She was welcoming, friendly and provided us useful tips regarding things to do within the area. Overall the house was clean and it had everything we needed. Our bedroom was of a very high standard and had a stunning view overlooking the front garden. The bed was also a good size and comfortable which was a plus! We highly recommend and will definitely be back!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Rose (the owner) a message.

If Rose (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
