Description

Abbey Self-Catering is Tourism NI 5 Star accredited (one of only a few in N Ireland). We have three 5 Star properties in the grounds of a historic Grade II listed Georgian residence with gardens overlooking and with private access to Belfast Lough. We're only ten minutes drive from the vibrant Belfast City centre & the exciting Titanic Exhibition, Odyssey Arena, Waterfront Hall etc. We're within easy reach of all motorways & en route to the beautiful Antrim Coast & the Giants Causeway. If you decide to stay in one of our properties we have several secure payment methods including TripAdvisor and PayPal.

Our featured property is "May Lodge".; May Lodge is a replacement Gate Lodge for the main residence. "Woodbank". It was built in 1983 and has been completely refurbished. Furnished in a contemporary style and with light oak furniture in living areas, May Lodge has 3 bedrooms which can comfortably sleep 6.

Getting around

We are half a mile from M2/M5 Motorway network which links the whole of Northen Ireland. Bus and train services are within minutes of the properties. Two stops on the train take you to Waterfront Hall and Belfast Markets.

Interaction with guest

We give our guests a PIN code so that guests can access the property easily on arrival and one of the proprietors will call on the first evening to make sure that all is well. The proprietors live in the main residence and are on hand to help visitors should there be a problem. There will be a Welcome Pack consisting of a cake, milk, tea and coffee plus a sleeve of 10 Nespresso coffee capsules.

We require a Booking form completed giving principal guest's postal address, names of other guests and ages if under 15. No one not named on the Booking form to stay in property overnight. On departure we expect the property to be left clean and tidy with all dishes washed otherwise we shall need to take a fee from the deposit

“amazing stay”

Despite a lot of rain the lodge was one of the many positives during our stay. Comfortable, spacious, conveniently located, clean, well decorated are some of the positive comments i have about it. Not forgetting to mention the warm and helpful hosts. Would definitely recommend it.
