The Wales region

Well positioned to explore the beaches and main tourist attractions of West Wales. The popular seaside town of Tenby in only 5 miles away as are the quieter seaside villages of Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge and Amroth which are even closer. The popular market town of Narberth is 10minutes drive and the larger shopping centres of Haverford West and Carmarthen a half hours drive. Folly Farm - Pembrokeshires biggest tourist attraction is on our doorstep, though you wouldnt know it save for the occasional roar of the lions when they are in at night.

Begelly

Thomas Chapel is a quiet and peaceful hamlet on the outskirts of Kilgetty. The surrounding countryside is a diverse mix of grassland, dairy farming, sheep rearing and smallholdings keeping chickens and horses. Coal mining was an important industry in the last century with rail links to Kilgetty and Saundersfoot, one of which now provides a lovely nature trail .. The Miners Path going from Thomas Chapel to Kilgetty.
