“Wonderful view”

Reviewed 20 Aug 2013

Excellent apartment with wonderful views. Beach only just over the road, which can be busy. Good base for exploring this part of Wales when you have had enough of sand and sea - if possible. Very helpful owners met us on arrival and even helped with the bags!

“One word................Perfect”

You couldn't ask for more from your stay the The Old Post Office. It's in a prime location, with the most fabulous views! A beautiful coastal walk will take you accross to Tresyth in 30 mins, to a lovely pub called The Ship - gorgeous views of the sea while you sit & eat lovely food :) There is nothing more to say other than make sure you check out these apartments for yourself & have a wonderful stay!

Fantastic apartment with the best view in Aberporth. Sam and Jeff were very helpful and welcoming, recommending places to eat and directions to the property. Everything has been thought of in the apartment with great attention to detail. Aberporth is a lovely small resort with beautiful clean beaches

“Perfect family beach holiday”

Reviewed 2 Aug 2012

Really clean, well thought out accomodation overlooking beautiful, uncrowded beach. Giving a warm and friendly welcome, Sam English could not have been more thoughtful, friendly or helpful. We found the apartment to be everything we'd hoped for and the website photos give a true respectation of what to expect. We loved the TV/DVD in each room, the outside shower (to remove sand) and shed where we could store beach things, the large balcony and the general level of decor and comfort throughout. The location meant that the children could be safely playing on the beach while we prepared for the day (we could see and hear the children easily from the apartment). The location was extremely quiet with lots to do and see a short drive away, if you don't want to sit on the beach. Would wholeheartedly recommend the apartment for a traditional and relaxing family holiday on the beach.

“Fantastic apartment”

“fantastic location, beautiful surroundings”

Reviewed 16 Apr 2012

Drove down through mid-wales in a snow blizzard but when we arrived greeted with a modern, lovely decorated and warm apartment at Penny Red, top floor. The views of the choppy seas were spectacular and right on the beach. Apartment well thought out and facilities excellent, everything you could think of. Great location for walking the coastal path north or south. can highly recommend a stay here, it is beautiful. If you are fortunate to get the weather it is ideal, if you don't get tyhe weather it's a lovely apartment to relax in and watch the sea!

“Fantastic”

Reviewed 15 Apr 2012

Well what can one say about The Penny Red, only good things from our experience. Firstly the apartment has everything you could wish for beautifully decorated throughout every amenity you need and a view to die for. We went has a family with two young children (7yrs & 2 yrs) and the location was ideal the beach is right opposite the apartment with a further cove simply steps away. We spent most of our days on the beautiful clean beaches where the children can play in safety then with two fresh faced children it was back to the apartment for a home cooked meal and a glass of wine. Aberporth is a lovely little village be it for families like use or those with teanages and if my husband and I ever get rid of the kids for a while then a romantic break there is also on the cards. A wonderful holiday let which will not leave you disappointed. Simply Perfect !!
