“Home Town” We would highly recommend this accommodation. The owners were very welcoming; the cottage very comfortable, clean and modernised very sensitively. Excellent views, easy walk to town centre but very good access to buses if needed. Ideal base for all ages.

“The Old Stable” Lovely cozy cottage, and we really liked the location. Nice walks from the doorstep, and close to Cinder Track. We will definately be back!

“Laburnum cottage” Lovely little cottage well situated at the end of the high street. The cottage was clean and the owners are very helpful. The garden is lovely, ideal for dogs and the bottom gate leads on the tow path at the side of the beck. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay there again.

“Well appointed cottage in Kirbymoorside” Booking went very smoothly with last minute queries dealt with efficiently. Cottage felt very warm and welcoming when we arrived. Kitchen/diner ideal size for our extended family (3 generations) and living room comfortable in evening. Bedrooms well appointed. Kirbymoorside ideally placed for walks in N Yorks Moors and close enough to coast for change of scenery. Cottage in quiet street two minute walk from town centre which has good array of shops and choice of pubs for eating out. There is park close by for children.

“Lovely break away” Lovely quirky cottage and perfectly located. Fab base for us and 2 dogs. 2 mins from the beach. Everything was there that you needed. Would be a squeeze for more than 2 in the living room and kitchen.

“Brilliant again” Our second stay here and it was perfect again. Even better if possible thanks to a few minor changes the owner has made. For example a retractable/moveable baby gate, different table, some more pictures and mirror just add to the stunning rental. Extremely clean and well maintained. Again nichola was excellent in her communication.

“Perfection is a fickle creature.” We always look for somewhere within walking distance of town and Greenside is just about perfect (5 minutes walk). The cottage is a two-up, two-down (with attached "outhouse" with loo and washing machine) so in comparison to our home is "bijoux" shall we say. However, with bijoux comes cosy and luckily we don't have a cat lol. Christine has thought of almost everything one could ever want and need; so full-marks there. The road gives a bit of noise during bed-time but it shouldn't be a problem if you're used to light traffic. The lakes are on your doorstep so we had a lovely four day break. We recommend Rydal Hall, Rydal water (caves included), Skelwith Bridge Elterwater, The Tarns (Tarn Hows) for leisurely walking and I went to Blea Tarn and Wast Water - not for the faint hearted regarding the drive over Wrynose and Hard Knott passes but well worth the angst for the scenery. In summary, the cottage is ideal for a home-from-home stay, very clean and Christine provides welcoming touches too - 9/10! We would stay again and recommend it to couples.
