“Best vaccation ever.” Perfectly situated in the hills above Cannes, Golfe Juan and Vallauris.
Breathtakin view over the Gulf and the hills.
Perfect poolarea and a very nice patio outside the kitchen. We spent many hours there.
The house is very well kept and lacks no kitchen utensils or equippment.
“Nice, newly refurbished and clean apartment in a great location!” First of all, communication and booking the apartment with Patrick was very easy and he always responded quickly. Before the trip he gave us all the information we needed about the apartment and how to get there from the airport etc. He was there to welcome us, showed around the apartment and gave advice and tips for example about restaurants.
The location of the apartment is great! It is easy to access from the airport by bus and within walking distance from the old town, beach, the harbor, railway station etc. Also the tram stop is very close to it and you can rent city bikes nearby. There are great restaurants right next to it/nearby, Carrefour and Monoprix for groceries are very close too and the Cours Saleya Flower Market is a great place to get some fresh vegetables, fruits, bread and many things more in the mornings.
The apartment itself is very nice. It’s clean and newly refurbished with a great modern kitchen, that has everything you might need for cooking on holidays. To be able to use the washing machine for the laundry is a great advantage also. There are air conditioners and flat screen TVs in the kitchen and the main room, which worked perfectly. The apartment was very quiet and there were no noise coming from the streets as the windows point to the inner court. The only downside is that you have to take quite a few steps to access the apartment, because there is no elevator (in case that is a deal breaker for you).
We really felt like home during this holiday and would definitely recommend this apartment for couples, small families or group of 3-4 ppl. Very good value for the money!
“Great position, lovely accommodation” The apartment was in a super elevated position with great views to the port. We spent many hours people watching and seeing the boats come and go. The apartment was clean and very comfortable and felt safe and secure. It had everything you need. The new shower room was superb! Transport in Nice is excellent with three different buses to catch right outside, although it's an easy walk to Place Garibaldi where there are trams and buses to everywhere. You can catch the bus outside to Monaco for 1.5 euros and stop off at Villefranche-sur-Mer on the way, which is beautiful too. In fact the buses are 1.5 euros to almost everywhere.
“Great Parisian Apartment” Dominic was a wonderful host. he was responsive to our needs but not intrusive. We stayed for 4 weeks and enjoyed every moment. The apartment is on the boundary of a very chic section of Paris and a more residential one, so there is plenty of things to do and also easy shopping for daily essentials. It is about .5 kilometers north of the Bastille, and about 3 kilometers from the big museums. We mostly walked to the sites, but one can catch the 1 Metro at Bastille and be in the center of Paris in about 20 minutes.
1. The apartment is on the top floor with windows facing both East and West. It has good views overlooking rooftops and light all day long. You can see the Eiffel tower and Bastille from a usable balcony.
2. It has a cathedral ceiling with old, wood timbers. It feels light and area for having a small footprint.
3. The kitchen is functional for 2. We cooked and ate most of our meals in the apartment.
4. It is located on a side street, so traffic is not heavy.
5. It is an easy trip from Charles de Gaulle Airport: RER B to Garde du Nord. Transfer to the Metro 5 headed towards Place d'Italle. Get off at Breget Sabin, and the apartment is around the corner.
1. If you are tall, you may bump your head in the sleeping loft.
2. If you have trouble with stairs, this place may not be for.
Bon Voyage mon Amie!
“very good indeed” a very very nice chalet, superbly located for lifts and town centre (although bit close to main road) .
very well equipped and decorated, and louisa (owner) is an absolute pleasure to deal with. 10 would be a tight squeeze (unless couple kids are in the party), but for 7-8 adults it is perfect.
