“Stunning Apartment in the centre of Paris!” Wow! What an amazing and fantastic apartment! Where do I start?! Nicolas was the perfect host and we really couldn't have asked for more. The apartment was spacious, very clean, fully equipped (towels, toiletries, food staples all provided), centrally located and absolutely beautiful! There were so many added extras as well like the mini bar, sweets for the children and a home baked tarte courtesy of Nicholas' lovely mother! On arrival, Nicholas greeted us, showed us around the apartment and explained everything that we needed to know. He also provided a detailed and very useful handbook which was a great guide to the flat and the city of Paris. He made us feel very welcome and was happy to help with anything throughout our stay. We found the location of the apartment extremely convenient - a 10-20 minute walk from many of the major attractions (place de la Concorde, louvre, arc de triomphe etc), and a short stroll to all the major train and bus routes. We really couldn't fault the apartment or the host at all, and we definitely plan to return in the near future. Merci Beaucoup, Nicolas! You made our family holiday in Paris so comfortable and enjoyable and your apartment is beautiful!

Apartment rental in 18th / XVIIIe - Montmartre

Paris apartment

2 bedrooms / 1 bathroom / sleeps 8

“Spacious apartment in downtown Montmartre” When booking this apartment, the owner Luke, allayed any of my possible fears about booking accommodation on the Internet. He suggested we talk on the phone and then contacted me regularly to reassure me the process was proceeding according to plan. When my friend and I eventually arrived at the apartment, the Paris contact Caroline showed us around and how everything worked. Luke has left a welcome pack explaining where all the cafes and restaurants are which is very helpful. The apartment itself was spacious and very elegant. I was under the impression that it had two bathrooms; however, it has one main bathroom plus a separate toilet with a small hand basin which I wouldn’t call a separate bathroom. You have to walk through the main bedroom to get to the bathroom but if the person in that bedroom doesn’t mind, it isn’t a problem — it wasn’t an issue for us. The bathroom and kitchen are very modern and the kitchen has beautiful utensils and whitegoods. The wooden floors squeak a little so you can hear people walking around, and you can also hear the upstairs neighbours and children playing in the courtyard below. However, this was not an issue. The beds are amazingly comfortable (as well as the sofa bed) and the double glazing on the windows shields you from the bustle outside. The neighbourhood is interestingly diverse. The streets appear a bit unclean and littered so it can be a little offputting at first sight. Once we walked around and got used to the neighbourhood, we felt at ease and were never concerned about safety. Uphill, it turns into a more typical Parisian neighbourhood and is very close to the Sacre Coeur, with wonderful cafes, bars, restaurants and very good grocery stores. You can buy food very cheaply or not so cheaply as you wish —there are lots of choices. The apartment is very close to the Chateau Rouge metro station and is only about 20 minutes from the main centre of Paris. There are two flights of stairs to climb but you get used to that. I loved coming home at the end of the day to the spacious elegance and very comfortable bed. We had a fantastic stay – thanks so much!

Paris holidays

Why Paris?

When considering where to go for your next city break, move Paris to the top of your list. Known as the “City of Light,” Paris has an endless amount of things to see and incredible food to eat. Spend your days exploring the city's neighborhoods, experiencing its rich history and culture at every turn. For the ultimate Parisian experience, book a holiday rental in the heart of it all for an unforgettable stay.

Holiday rentals in Paris

Take your pick of spacious holiday rentals and quaint accommodation when planning your city break in Paris. With more than two thousand holiday rentals in Paris to choose from on Holiday Lettings, it's easy to find accommodation that is exactly what you need and for less than the cost of traditional hotels. Save money and enjoy convenient access to many of the city's most famous attractions.

Things to do in Paris

Take a tour of the iconic Eiffel Tower and enjoy incredible views of Paris from the top of the landmark. If you don't make it there during the day, you can see the Eiffel Tower all lit up in the evening, which is quite a spectacle. There is a reason the Musee du Louvre is also at the top of many lists of attractions in Paris. Home to world-famous works of art like Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo, spending a day wandering its halls is a must while on holiday here. Other museums worth a visit include Musee de l'Orangerie and Musee d'Orsay. Get lost walking the streets of Paris and find yourself passing legendary places like the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Luxembourg Gardens, or head to the Champs-Elysees for a shopping spree.

Food and drink in Paris

Lingering at a sidewalk café is the norm in Paris. Pull up a chair and indulge with a cappuccino and pain au chocolate while people-watching. You also can't make a trip to Paris without trying escargot. The cooked snails are typically served in the shell with special tongs that can be used to pull out the meat and dip in a garlic butter sauce. Other French food you'll want to enjoy in the city include macarons, crepes and croissants. You don't have to spend a lot of money to get good food, though. Simply grab a baguette from a small bakery and eat on a park bench in one of the city's parks.

Flat Bastille - Marais
The perfect Paris pad

Luc and Virginie’s apartment was exactly what we were looking for - it was stylish, comfortable and had all the mod cons we needed for an easy going city break. Virginie was really helpful before our trip, ensuring that we had all the information we needed beforehand. And Luc was our welcoming host on arrival, showing us where things were and answering our questions. It couldn’t have been better - and we hope to return next time we are in Paris.see more
QUIET BEAUTIFUL PARIS APARTMENT -Wifi-7°Arr.
Paris apartment - great location

The pictures for this apartment are a good representation of the apartment. With the exception of the fact that the windows do not overlook the entry courtyard. There is a very pretty courtyard but these windows look out of the roofs and windows of other apartments. The apartment includes all the furniture and features described in the advertisement and as shown in the pictures. It does sleep four people but you should be aware that the apartment is very small. Our party of four adult women found it a little cramped and close quarters. Two of the women in our party are of larger size and so found it challenging in the toilet room and in the shower. If you are of very large size, you will have difficulties fitting into the shower opening. The pull-out bed was okay for one adult person but not good for two. The bedroom has a very nice bed and great storage place for clothes. The location of the apartment is wonderful. Bus within a block, metro within two blocks and RER within a block. But we didn't use them much because so much of the things you want to see in Paris are within walking distance. My daughter and I (ages 43 and 66) walked to almost everything. There are plenty of cafes nearby and Eric Kayser bakery is right on the corner. The girls all stopped there just about everyday for coffee and croissants. Try their chocolate croissants. There is a chocolate shop and cheese shop a few doors away. You don't need to go to any other shops for those items because they are the very best we found anywhere in Paris. There are 2 small groceries less than a block away - try the little on around the corner that looks like he just has soda - he actually has excellent produce hidden inside that is a bargain price. There is also a larger store just two blocks away. The thing about this apartment that was disappointing is that the washer/dryer broke after we did only 2 loads of laundry. A part had to be replaced and the part wasn't received until after we left. Two of our party had already been in Europe for 2 weeks and so were counting on this feature of the apartment. There is a laundromat but it's not within convenient walking distance of the apartment. It would have been nice if the concierge had offered extra towel or dish towel. I dropped something under the bed and decided not to retrieve it after finding a lot of dirt, dust and other items like applicators, money and ?? I brought this to the attention of the owner and concierge and the owner assures me she will have it addressed by her cleaning person. The other thing lacking was an instruction book for the apartment. I have rented over 20 apartments in 5 countries and there is always a notebook with instructions on various aspects of the apartment. I tried to find instructions for the microwave and washer but could not. I finally found an old notebook buried in a book case that had instructions for older microwave and washer which had been replaced. It also had out of date emergency contact info. I also brought this to the attention of the owner. Overall, the apartment was everything I expected and was hoping for in Paris. My daughter and I loved it. Our two companions are not world travelers so I don't think they would agree. They have only stayed in full service hotels in the past so this apartment did not fulfill their expectations. I would stay here again if I could be sure the garbage and dirt under the bed is removed and cleaned on a regular basis. I might recommend this apartment to a friend if I had those same assurances from the owner that she is addressing the cleaning issue.see more
Eiffel Tower Tradition Apartment
Clean, cozy, convenient, and comfortable

This little gem of an apartment was just what my sister and I needed after a week of travel in beautiful France. The train station, Metro, buses, and cabs are all within a five-minute walk. Also nearby are cafes, restaurants, an ATM, shops, and a grocery store. The building requires a security code for both the gate and front entrance, so we felt very safe here. Our apartment was on the ninth floor, so even with the door to the balcony open, we didn't hear any street noises. And the view!!!! One whole wall is a sliding glass door. At night, especially, the illuminated Eiffel Tower and the Dome des Invalides are beyond gorgeous. The size of the apartment is perfect for one or two people. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever lucky enough to return to Paris!see more

BUDGET APARTMENT FULLY FURNISHED IN CENTRAL PARIS
Nice area not too touristy

Rue lecourbe is a really nice area, near enough to everything but not too busy. Expect everyone to speak French not all have good English here but I enjoyed that. The apartment we stayed in was basic but comfortable for what we required and the owner was helpful if you wanted to know the best places to view the city, not normal tourist routes. Apartment accessible through really cute courtyard with friendly black cat resident. Really enjoyed it.see more
House loft 150 m 2 for 6 people campaign
Perfect house, perfect hosts!

A beatufil house with a wonderful terrace all situated in a fabulous courtyard. When you enter the courtyard after a long and tiresome day, you leave every hustle and bustle behind. We've booked various homes in Paris before but this was far the best. We enjoyed our breakfasts and most of our dinners at the small patio facing the courtyard. A glass of wine at the terrace under the stars after dinner refreshes you for the next day's exploration of Paris - the most amazing city on earth, in my opinion! There is a large supermarket within a few minutes walking distance where you can find everything you may need. And Annie is a wonderful host who met us at the apartment, offered cold refreshments and explained all the amenities one by one. She was very easy to access on Whatsapp although we needed to only once as everything went perfect and smooth. Thank you very much Annie for sharing your beautiful house with us. Hope to see you again when we're back in Paris.see more
