This beautiful and scenic region spans a large area. With a lot on offer between the numerous cities and towns, including bustling regional capital city Rennes, there's plenty to entertain the entire family, across all the generations, whilst getting a little flavour of the French culture.
A largely coastal region, there's no shortage of beautiful beaches or breathtaking coastal scenery. And with a number of small islands and outcrops, there are plenty of new and exciting places to explore.
What to do
The walled city of St Malo is equal parts historic and picturesque, so it's well worth a stroll around.
You can't visit France without trying crepes, and they happen to be a regional speciality here, so it's an absolute must.

Josselin 2 bed town house for four people
Fabulous cottage in historic location of Josselin
A wonderful week in this roomy cottage I the heart of historic Josselin. The house is well equipped with large rooms and sunny courtyard. Very comfy beds. Plenty of parking right outside the property. Great location to explore beautiful Brittany and Morbihan area. Town has great cafes and restaurants and also supermarket and markets to cook at the house.
Dick responds quickly to any enquiry which was excellent- thank you.

Cottage green Motte
Perfectly situated for a beach within walking distance
We really found a gem in this little gite tucked away in the centre of Erquy. It was the perfect size for three people, with a garden space big enough to store bikes, sit and eat and bbq. The back gate opens directly onto the car park of the tourist office, where parking is free all week. Please note that you cannot get access to the car park on market day (Saturday) which may be difficult if this is your changeover day. You have to park the car the night before on a nearby street. The market itself is amazing though, and well worth having direct access to! We hired bikes for a week, (including electric) and toured the local, well sign posted cycle routes. We walked/cycled to the beac every day, and hardly used the car at all. We ate out every night in the local restaurants, can recommend the Pizza restaurant in the harbour and Ty Prince . Lastly, I cannot praise our host, Loic, enough. He was a fantastic host, very kind and accommodating. I lost my phone on my first day (it fell out my bike basket) and Loic helped me locate it, contacted the finder and went and fetched it for me! So grateful. We loved Erquy, and will return again. …
Cosy cottage with large shared heated pool set in 30 acres
The amenities were as indicated and met all expectations. Carl was very informative about the work he and Belinda had achieved and he was a great partner on one of his recommended rides. He intimately knows his property and has a great empathy for the local environment.
We are thinking seriously of a return visit.

The Rest of the House
Their were 4 adults and 5 children in our party. Lovely spacious home with rustic decor as well as modern touch. All bedrooms fully equipped and the kids loved the toys available in the room. Bathroom on top floor with bath and shower as well as second bathroom on bottom floor. We loved the shower in the pool room it was easy to just get out and straight in the to rince off. Really lovely chill out area in poolroom to watch the kids as well as a night cap to sit and talk on an evening when the children were in bed. Big garden and loved using the bbq! It was nice to have a home cooked meal all together. No WiFi but it was nice to have a break. Beaches were beautiful and really enjoyed the traditional French food from the local restaurant in the village. Supermarket located only a 10 minute drive into evran which was really handy. You have to look up at the sky on a night as the stars were incredibly bright. Thoroughly enjoyed this adventure and will definitely be back again. Thankyou for our stay! X …
