“Great location, home from home!” We stayed for a week in the townhouse over the Easter holidays. Very much as all the other reviews on here; excellent location, quiet yet within easy walking distance to the centre of Honfleur. The house has all the amenities of a home rather than a holiday let, with great views over the estuary. Pretty much faultless. We used the house as a base to explore Normandy; Bayeux, Rouen, D-Day beaches and so much more within easy driving distance. The excellent location allows you to wander around the lovely port of Honfleur once all the crowds have dispersed. We would thoroughly recommend it for a Normandy stay.

this is a great venue for a large gathering. the house is large, beautiful, quirky ,full of character. the grounds are lovely, safe for children, great trees for climbing. the pool is warm, clean and well looked after. the kitchens are well equipped. there are several barbecues. the sea is not too far away. there are folk coming every day or so to make sure things are ok. Angela provided champagne and lovely hotel dressing gowns in every room and that made us feel very welcome. Unbeatable

Stunning central apartment, beautiful decor, comfy and clean. The owner and her helper couldn’t have done more for us, both when we were planning our trip and when we were there. It is up about 60 steps and you can hear faint church bells but neither bothered us in the least. I would absolutely rebook here rather than try anywhere else if we ever come back. Rural calm for 2 near Utah Beach
Best equipped Gite, we've ever stayed in

Lovely property and very well equipped. Well positioned for Utah beach, St Marie du Mont and St Mere Eglise, so perfect for those with an interest in military history, the actual building itself, was used by American troops as shelter and cover, to fire at German troops, who were billeted across the road! On a practical level, the house has no steps, wide doorways, tiled floors, is deceptively spacious, has 2 toilets, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Plus it has the best equipped kitchen, I've ever seen, in a holiday property, even a blender! For chilly nights, there are wall heaters, in every room and a log burner, in the living room. Outside is a lovely seating area, with patio table and chairs, which catches the sun all day. On arrival, we found the house to be spotlessly clean, no signs of spiders, ( which I expected, given the age and location). We had clean sheets and towels brought to us, at the end of our first week and a vacuum cleaner was delivered, when we requested it. Steve and Rosemary, who own the property, were lovely people, very friendly and they messaged us frequently, to see if all was ok..otherwise, they left you alone, to enjoy your stay.
