“Excellent, modern and perfect location!” We stayed here for 10 days in September. The apartment was very clean and well presented. They had everything you would need from hairdryer to kitchen equipment and utensils. They were flexible with check in/out times which was great as our flight was delayed. We found the location was a perfect walking distance to the main town/city and there was plenty to do nearby. All in all it was a lovely stay and the locals were really friendly.

“Beautiful Nice apartment!” “OMG”!!! What an apartment, the photos don’t do it justice. Its so big and tastefully furnished with all the equipment you will need for a self-catering holiday. You couldn't wish for a better location, its fabulous location is surrounded by restaurants, bars and family bakers; the baguettes / croissants are to die for and all freshly baked on the premises. Also 1 minute walk to trams and buses and maximum of 3-5mins walk to beach. Highly recommend the Cours Seleya (1 minute walk!) for restaurants/bars, just sit there with wine and watch the world go around. Also recommend walking through the newly finished park with its fountains etc. We will return!!!

“Character and charm a short stroll from the heart of Nice” I was looking for a characterful, inviting apartment for myself and 3 friends for our 5 nights stay in Nice, and Cronstadt did not disappoint! From the start, Mary was very responsive and helpful and the whole booking process was a breeze. My security deposit was returned in a timely manner - the only downside with this is if you're paying in a different currency from Euros, changes in exchange rates may mean you receive a different amount back than you paid. However this problem exists when renting properties throughout Europe, it's just something to be aware of. The apartment itself is vey cosy and welcoming and we felt immediately at home. It's located only a couple of blocks back from the Promenade and the Hotel Negresco so walking into the centre of town was an easy 10 minute stroll down the promenade. The rooms are all well appointed and there was plenty of room for us all. We were there in winter and the heating worked well - sometimes too well and we had to turn it down! Being on the first floor meant that you did get some street noise so if you're a light sleeper, I would recommend bringing ear plugs. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking dinner and there were quite a number of supermarkets, both small and large, within a short walk of the apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nice and would recommend this apartment whole heartedly.

“Great Place to Stay in Nice” We had a great stay at this apartment. It is modern and well-kept. The balcony is wonderful and a great place to watch the people along the promenade, the Mediterranean, and the passing cars. It is a 20-30 minute walk to town which was just perfect after a meal. I would stay there again.

“Genuine hosts, clean comfortable tastefully decorated and well equipped apartment in good location” Accurately described by charming hosts Christian & Odile Rabault, this apartment makes for a wonderful stay in Nice. Overlooking Place Saint Francois & Restaurant Gaglio, with views of the rich ochre & yellow tones that are characteristic of Nice's buildings, rooftops and views of the mountains in the distance. With gentle sounds of the city, a lovely painting by Dufy set within the square below and watching seagulls in flight, one quickly feels at home in this splendid neighbourhood. Ideally located, the apartment straddles essential areas of Nice. Set on the edge of the Vielle Ville, there is easy access to a plethora of delightful narrow streets where I felt safe to wander into the evening. Minutes walk away, also conveniently in easy reach is Place Massena and access to the main shopping area including Galerie laFayette & Loius Vuitton - take your pick! Buses & trams nearby take you to the wonderful Musee Marc Chagall or along the coast to all destinations beautiful that make for the Côte d'Azur! This well equipped, well maintained (clean!) and tastefully decorated apartment offers a very cosy stay. Both double bedrooms have comfortable beds and a lovely walk in shower. The living room has a pleasant sofa, and a great sound system to listen to local radio or play your own CDs! It's a minute's walk from Place Garibaldi, with the popular Cafe de Turin and a Monoprix food store akin to M&S for those of us who rent an apartment with the intention of home cooking and find this is still possible with a very well equipped kitchen, a dining table which seats 6 and a little help from Monoprix and local artisan bakers! You will by now have gathered that this apartment comes highly recommended by me, the owners impressed as genuine and generous with their time. It's somewhere I will happily return to! “Wonderful!” The apartment was just wonderful. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. The view was beautiful and we were close to the flower market and all transportation. “Fantastic apartment in Nice” My husband & I spent a week in Nice and we really enjoyed the apartment. The location was great, it was spacious, clean, and we loved having dinner on the terrace. It was perfect for our first trip to the south of France! We would not hesitate to stay here again. Would have to agree with others that Liz is a gracious host who made our stay very special.

“Could not have wished for a better place to stay in Nice - Thank” My 2 boys and I have had a lovely stay in Nice. We could not have wished for a better place to stay. It is such a beautiful little apartment, with everything you need. It´s clean and in a nice well decorated design and perfectly situated at the foot of the old castle. You are close to everything you need, and at the same time you feel secure and withdrawn. On top of everything there is a very kind and attentive host family. Thank you for a lovely stay. “Even better second time round.” Lovely apartment overlooking the old port, with views across to the Chateau. Everything you need is on the doorstep, from pubs and restaurants to a small supermarket and boulangerie just around the corner. David and Claudia, the owners, were very quick to respond to any queries, and Julie, who met us on arrival, was very helpful. This was our second time in the apartment, and since our last visit a new kitchen has been installed. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the port with a glass of wine is about as good as it gets. Be aware that the apartment is on the fourth floor, and there is no lift, so it might not suit anyone with mobility problems. Apart from that, just perfect, and we can't wait to go back.

“Great Flat” This was my 4th trip staying at this apartment. It is very well equipped, clean and well laid out with internet and wifi. Amazing views from the balcony. Ideal location for access to bus and train. You can walk to beach, shops and old town. There's lots of cafes and restaurants and a market there also. We had day trips to Monte Carlo/ Monaco and St Paul de Vance . Looking forward to going again.

“Perfect holiday vacation apartment” We loved everything about this apartment - from its excellent location near the promenade, shops, supermarkets, bus stops and entertainment venues, to the decor (modern and clean), the facilities (hot water on demand, great information booklet and folder, equipped with everything you could possibly need) and the quiet to come back to after a long days sight seeing. “Great central location and lovely, spotlessly clean, quiet apartment!” Great apartment. Got everything you could possibly need. The owner was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating for my very last minute booking. He was more than pleased to welcome my quiet little dog too. Would happily come here for another holiday in Nice. Its in a great central location to see everything, on the edge of the old town, near lots and lots of restaurants and marvellously quiet when it comes to bedtime. Travelling with my uncle, we made use of the sofa bed in the living room. It was a very comfortable, 'proper bed' style sofa bed and with the closing door on the living room, privacy was no issue. Loved it. Thanks!
