“Fantastic villa, Fantastic weather, Fantastic holiday !” Had a wonderful 10 night stay at this beautiful villa with my husband and two teenage children. The villas interior was more than impressive and by far the best one we have ever stayed in; so modern, clean and tidy. Outside was equally as good with a lovely seating area, where we enjoyed BBQ"s and many a glass of the lovely local wine. The pool was lovely not too big or too deep; it was where we spent most of our days; the table tennis provided our children with hours of fun along with the many board games etc.We didn't venture out too much as the weather was so hot and we had everything we wanted at the villa, however, we did spend some time in the square, which was just a short walk up the road from the villa, nice to have a drink in the bars and there are a couple of good take aways and a very nice bakery . Andy the taxi driver was wonderful with transfers to and from the airport , trips into Paphos a few times and to do a couple of big shops at the hypermarket! always on hand and such a gentleman.Last but not least Tony who owns this wonderful villa! so helpful and patient, whilst we swapped and changed dates etc, he also introduced us to Andy by arranging for him to meet us upon arrival. Overall a wonderful and very enjoyable holiday and we will definitely be returning soon.

“stunning views and a warm welcome” Calypso villa is a gem. The views from the villa are spectacular, especially from the balconies. The layout of the apartment is on two floors and feels like home, everywhere is clean and everything has been thought of to provide a warm welcome. There is also easy access to the beach and cultural sites. I would definitely go again! Dr Gillian Robinson

“Fantastic Villa Excellent Location” Dismiss any doubts you may have about dealing direct with an owner. Michael's friendly and professional approach is second to none. The Villa itself is fabulous in every way, equipped to a very high standard, fantastic location with stunning views, the garden, pool and outside area the perfect place to "chill". Locally the attention to detail is superbly managed by Mark. Overall the entire experience from first contact to handing back the keys at the end of a fantastic holiday was a 10/10.

“Great apartment” Excellent apartment in Kings Palace, clean, comfortable, good wifi reception. Perfect location despite the ongoing roadworks! Allan, the owner, very cooperative and on time. I'd recommend anytime, all facilities close by and transport links.

“Fantastic Villa in a peaceful outskirts of Protaras” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Villa and cannot thank Andreas and his family (particularly his father Savvas) enough for their help throughout. In turn, I wanted to write a thorough and fair review of our stay here for those looking to visit (particularly for those looking to travel with very young children). For those reading this review our party included 8 adults, 1 teenager, and my 2 younger children (aged 2 and 10 months). Upon arrival we were a little surprised to find that the villa is actually split into two sections with no connecting door, however this is a great advantage if you would like some privacy between two groups (both sides accommodates 6 people) and has separate bathrooms and fully fitted kitchens. The two sides obviously share the open space outside so to the rear/side you have two large dining tables, a bbq/pizza oven, a fruit garden, table tennis, a small grass area and a good sized 10 metre swimming pool. Andreas was also kind enough to provide 2 travel cots and a high chair. The Swimming pool was great although it is best suited to older children and adults. The shallow end is around 0.9m deep and the deep end was considerably deeper. It was very well maintained and was in direct sun light for most of the day (so be careful during peak heat (1130-3pm roughly) but there are two large canopies attached to the house that provide shade (along with 2 sun umbrellas). Inside house was well maintained, clean and had all amenities that you would need for any duration of stay. It is worth noting though that with young children you do need to watch them constantly because the tiled flooring and stairs can be concerning with toddlers running around. We were under the impression that with Protaras being only 1km away we would be able to walk this distance to venture into town for shops and restaurants but this is definitely not the case. You need a hire car without doubt for anything you wish to do outside the villa or be prepared to pay for taxis. Taxis are great for adults and cost around 10 euros each way to Protaras but I would not recommend using taxis with children who require booster/car seats. If travelling with children I would suggest that a hire car is essential. We found it cheaper to arrange this in person in Protaras rather than booking in advance (averaged around 28-30 euros per day). We also found that you get better rates on currency exchange doing this in Protaras rather than the UK beforehand (1.19 rather than 1.16 back in the UK). Konnos Beach is a must visit – lovely beach with activities and cafes but was not overly crowded. Really enjoyed visiting here. Would also recommend visiting Protaras in the evening when the shops are all open, the bars and restaurants were great, and it had a really nice family vibe to it. Taxi transfers to Larnaca were 60 Euros each way for 7 seaters and took around 45 minutes. All in all we had a fantastic time in the villa, however with young children we did find it to be hard work. If you are a family (with children 3 years+) or are going away with other adults I could not recommend this villa enough. Thank you Andreas, Savvas and family – we look to visit again in a few years’ time I’m sure.
