“A very relaxing holiday, a lovely spacious apartment with with all amenities to hand” We (family of 4 including two daughters aged 11 and 8) had a most relaxing stay in Villa Baia. The apartment complex was lovely - the apartment was very spacious and very clean - the pool area was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. The complex is located very close to the Luz beach and promenade with plenty of restaurants for all tastes. We would definitely recommend this apartment complex and area to family and friends and we intend to go back again soon.

“Great apartment Albuferia” Just back from a week in Albuferia. We stayed in a beautiful spacious apartment well equipped kitchen and plenty of room. Marta a very nice lady met us on arrival , She showed us around the apt , how to use air con , tv remote s etc . Also valuable information on local places of interest restaurants, beaches etc .Marta booked taxis etc she couldn't have been more helpful. The pool are was very pretty lots of flowers and shrubs . Best of all plenty of sun beds . If I had young children I would request a ground floor apartment for easy access to the pool area ,as keys were required to come and go . The area was quiet but just 10 mins from the busy strip full of bars and restaurants, this suited my kids 17to 23 yrs. The beaches are beautiful 15/20 min walk which we enjoyed as lots of shops and interests along the way . A taxi was required to go to old town approx 3/4 miles Overall a very enjoyable holiday.

“Great Holiday” We stayed for a week and loved it ! Most of time was spent around the pool which was great, plenty of sunbeds and a decent sized pool, great location and had everything we needed,transfers were well organised and we felt looked after, thank you

“Great location” The apartment was lovely. Spotless and had everything we needed. It is in a great location and was easy to find . Emma met us and we were sorted very quickly. Our only disappointment was that the apartment got very little sun even on the balcony so we were cold inside even during the day despite good weather. This is prob due to ground floor and time of year .

“A Wonderful Holiday” What a wonderful holiday! The villa is just amazing with everything you need for your stay - plenty of towels including beach towels - and everything you would need in a kitchen including a washing machine and drier and dishwasher. The views are the best I have seen and you could sit for hours on the roof terrace (as we did!) . We did not hire a car but found we could walk to a local supermarket for essential items and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We got a taxi to a larger supermarket as the local one is fairly expensive so this was great to do a large shop. The Bella Vita restaurant on-site is really good with exceptional service. The resort is very quiet and peaceful with just a restaurant and tennis courts and a mini-golf. You can walk along the cliffs to get to many beaches - the nearest one is only a 5 minute walk and it beautiful. We also walked further along to Benagil where there are more restaurants and you can also go on boat trips to see the caves from here. This walk is about 20 minutes and we liked doing this in the morning and getting a coffee at the little cafe on the beach. We went to a restaurant in the evening there but if you leave after dark you will need to get a taxi as a dark walk along the cliffs is not recommended! You can also walk for hours along the coast either way to reach many other beaches but pick a day that isn't too hot ! We did many walks and sometimes got a taxi back but the walks are well worth it - views are amazing. We also had a day at the water park Aqualand (we were told this was less busy ) and this was a fun day out. The taxi is about 25 euros each way but still cheaper than hiring a car. We loved the pool which was the perfect temperature and was just wonderful with the sea views in the background. Wifi great. Air conditioning worked a treat. We enjoyed a few evening at the little cafe next to the little local supermarket (outside Praia Rocha) and this was great for cheaper meals and they also had two nights with live music which we enjoyed. Overall a wonderful holiday. Went with a 12 year old and a 15year old and we all enjoyed. Herman was extremely helpful and answered my many questions. “Home from home” Myself, my partner and two children (boys aged 9 and 13) spent two lovely weeks in Casa-alegre. This was our first holiday in a villa, as previously we've been to All Inclusive hotels, and it will certainly now be one of many. The villa was very spacious and had absolutely everything in it. The kitchen crockery, utensils etc put mine to shame at home. British TV and free wifi was a definite plus. I read a couple of books from the extensive library while the boys enjoyed playing Ludo and doing some of the jigsaws. We loved the peaceful setting and the endless, undisturbed view from the terrace. Yet, there was so much to do and see within a short drive. The marina of Vilamoura was lovely with amazing seafood and the beach at Gale was breathtaking. A superb pool too with plenty of loungers. The best time of the day there was between 5pm and 7. And last but by no means least...lovely Maria. She came in 6 days a week to tidy/clean the villa which meant it was a real holiday for me. I thoroughly recommend Casa-Alegre and hope to be back very soon.
