Casa das Rochas is situated, very private on the top of our plot , in midden of nature and at the horizont you can see glizzering the beautyful sea with it large beaches near the nature reservate Ria da Formosa and Tavira.

Over nice landroads you reach easely the sea .You can pass the beautyful laggoon area "Ria da Formosa " by feed, with little ferry boats or with a little train which is a relaxing wayto reach the water area.

Casa das Rochas got its name because of the integrated rocks, which you call in portugues "Rochas" which the owner integrated when the house was built.

The nice, colourful and cosy house with a Roof made with a traditional plant in calls "grass of Cana" is well situated,very private and works perfect for 2 adults and 1-2 smaller children or as well with 3 adults.

( for 2 children depending of age) please ask me) .

The house has two floors separated only through three flat steps.

On the 1. floor you will find a sofa-bed area and another relaxing area behind a rock what can be a relaxing area , or can be done as a bed for a child.

On the ground- floor you will find a double bed with mosquitonet and ventilatores and from here it goes to the nice marmore bath with a thub and shower, bidet and a toilett.

All bed have ventilatores and mosquitonets.

From here you reach through a little wintergarden with a table and chairs, the separate and full equipped kitchen room with barbecue next to it.

A path is going behind the house to an outdoor shower which is really loved by our guests in summer.

In front of the house is the garden area with a terrace ,a dining place and sunchairs.

Nice walking paths, through our garden leads you to the nice pool area which is for all our guests to use for.

This house is really well integrated in our land , something for lovers of nature and privacy for poeple who loves it to live without to be disturbed while having holidays but to have everything nice nearby like the next little village calls: Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo only 3km away with a pharmacy, a shop with fresh fruits and vegetables from the region ,cafes and pubs and little restaurants.

10 km from here you will be at the wonderful Atlantic, awarded for it best water quality in Europe. beautyful,large beaches situated in the protected area calls: Ria da Formosa, invites the guests to make long walks, to enjoy a day by swimming ,reading and doing almost nothing.Holidays!!

Or as well you find everything you like to do with in the water.

And in the evening you could visit the perl of the Algarve the well restored and very charming Renaissance city calls Tavira ,with it around 40 churches ,old buildings and wonderful little streets and pathes through the old center.

Restaurants ,cafes,little handycraft shops and cultural events by night show the best of Portugal and invites to meet portuguese and international poeple.

The river, calls Rio do Gilao, devites the city into two historical parts with all the protected buildings and places to visit and empties into the sea where you can visit the island of tavira for example wih it little pine tree wood and large beaches .

But as well it is worse to visit as well the country site with it mountain areas with all the cork , carob and almond trees which becomes it beautyful white flowers in January.

Then it seems as it would have snowed in Portugal.

All guests are welcome and there are no special rules to take care about.
Important rules for all guest I will explain after arriving. If the guests is broken something I will asked to pay for it and we will talk about it.Not a big catastrophe when it is not vandalism for sure.
It is allowed to smoke into or near by the house ( not in the landscape area) always having respect for the very dry summer days in the south and knowing about the danger almost a little fire could couse.

What a nice and simpatic comentary about your stay thank you very much for your Kind and friendly words. It was really nice to have you hear seeing thay you enjoyed very much Casa das Rochas the house on the top very quite and private, the lovely ,colourful house which have choosed of our four Holidays houses in our private garden. You was a curious couple and was visting some of the nice places around I have told you about , as the beauytyful, tasteful restored Renaissance City Tavira , with it nice Cafes,old Buildings,restaurants and simpatic atmosphere. And for sure ,our second home, the lovely mountain restaurarnt of "Donna Maria" somehwer in the mountains. with it wild porc dishes hunted by owner itself and more lovely Things to eat. What a nice view you have had from there...over the mountains until the sea, WOW! For sure you was diving into the clear Atlantic water and enjoyed doing a walk along the long beaches. After all enjoing a fresh fish from the barbecue in of the tradidional portugues Restaurants near the lagoon for example. I will tell you more when you come visting us.. I was really nice to have you here as our guests thank you for visting us and may we will see us again--back into paradies . Many sunnty greetings from Portuga from paradies.

was fuer zauberhafte Zeilen ueber Ihre Tage die Sie beide in unserem kleinen Paradies verbracht haben. Haben Sie ganz lieben Dank dafuer! Ich werde die Froesche und Co herzlich gruessen von Ihnen. Wie schoen zu lesen das Sie sich erholen konnten bei uns und in unserme schoene Umland zum einen den weichen, hügeligen Bergketten und den darin verstecken Bergkneipen von denen ich Ihnen gerne erzählt habe sowie unserem wunderschönen Naturschutzgebet der Ria da Formosa mit seiner Vogelwelt den wundervollen Farben in dem die Landschaft bei Sonnenuntergang eintaucht und natuerlich unserem sauberen,gezähmten Atlantik gleich vor der Tuer. Sie gingen in den nahen Orten auf Entdeckungsreise und fanden das ein oder andere Mitbringsel und liesen sich nach diesem Tagewerk den gegrillten Fisch schmecken. Es gibt viel zu entdecken bei uns und es ist fuer jedes Alter etwas dabei. Es war mit ene besondere Freude Sie bei uns kennen zu lernen und freue mich sehr! das Sie erholt und munter zurueck in Ihr schoenes zu Hause reisen konnten von dem Sie mir erzaehlten. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Heidi (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
