“Everything you could wish for” Faultless cleanliness, decor and comfort. Spacious, light, bright and welcoming and beautifully equipped. Unbeatable location, just as described, so easy to access everything St Ives offers. The steepness of the lower stairs was initially a slight concern but the child gate at the top was good and the two-and-a-half year old managed fine, though the oldies might have liked a downstairs toilet.

“Great house, fab location, didn't want to leave!” Stayed at house to film a short film, house slept all crew and cast comfortably with plenty of living and sleeping space. Mike (owner) was extremely welcoming and helped us wherever he could. Great place for large groups to stay, would love to stay again soon!

“Fabulous basement flat.” Absolutely loved this flat, I’d happily live there and miss it already. Great location, cosy. Only issue we had was being in a double bed, it was a bit small and we are not big but used to a king size. Duvet quote heavy too as the flat is warm but I’d still go back again without a doubt.

“cosy and comfortable” Really liked the apartment, it was comfortable and had a good range of facilities. Someone had helpfully supplied a rated list of restaurants in the area and their tips were great! It's at the top of a hill so the views are fab from the top floor.

“Our own castle for the weekend! !” Stayed at Yannon for a family get together, the place is stunning with all the character you could hope for inc spiral staircase to secluded turret room, but with the luxury of modern bathrooms and kitchen perfect!!

“Admiral View” we had the best stay, everything provided and easy accessibility to surrounding area. only disadvantage is there was no lift, it was up on the second floor and after adventuring all day the last thing you want to do is climb more, lol. but the view alone is worth it.

“A little gem, larger than appears in photograph, clean, quiet and pleasant.” The owners Lyn and Phil. were very welcoming and helpful and provided some delicious local produce for us when we arrived which was a very nice touch. The accommodation was a lot larger than appears in the photographs, especially the bathroom, which has plenty of storage space as does the bedroom. A nice patio area was provided and the extensive garden was very pleasant. Once we' found our feet' we found it easy to get around, there are plenty of places to visit in the area, with village shop and Farm Shop with cafe not too far away and a delightful bakery/cafe in a village nearby, think it was called Lindys bakery, not sure on this one! Would say it is probably essential to have a car as footpaths scarce along small roads nearby, we did not find this a problem though, however there is a footpath across field to village. Unfortunately we did not use this as we were staying at the property in the worst weather this country has had for years with bad floods, apart from walking across fields, we did not let this stop us travelling about and we still had a great time! From this property it was easy to get to Wells, the park and ride for Bath and Weston Super Mare with its new pier and its very nice restaurant Tiffanys at the very end of the pier. We cycled along the sand at Bream Sands on the one sunny day we had. All ine all I would really recommend this bungalow which is very fairly priced. Thanks again to Lyn and Phil. “Delightful house, beautifully furnished and in a central location” My family of 11 including 4 children under six stayed at Springfield House for 3 days to celebrate our daughter's 40th birthday. The house is very well equipped including a games room. The owners have thought of everything, including buckets, spades, fishing nets, etc so rain or shine there was something to occupy all ages. We stayed in December so never got to enjoy the outside space but the real log fire in the drawing room made it very cosy at this time of year.
