“Ideal Self Catering Holiday Home” This is our second stay in this wonderfully charming cottage (first stay was 5 years ago!). In between times we have stayed in various other self catering homes but coming back to South Devon we opted for a place we loved first time round and wanted to visit again. We have certainly not been disappointed and the cottage has been everything we remembered. Charming, characterful, clean and homely. Our two children (7+4) have loved it here and have slept incredibly well every night in the super comfy beds as have we! The kitchen is very well equipped (only missing some weighing scales) and the vast selection of DVD's and games kept us entertained when the weather was not so kind to us. Russell the owner has been very attentive with texts to check how our stay is going and organising a prompt call out for an electrician when we had a problem with some lights. All in all a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting Dartmoor and surrounding areas. We will most definitely be back again.
