The Stables, part of Fermanagh Self Catering unit is on the ground floor of a converted stable/barn. It has a contemporary layout kitchen, dining and living room in an open plan space converted from old stables and servants quarters. It has a modern fitted kitchen with good storage and worktop space and all mod cons are provided.

Open plan living, dining and kitchen area.. Cook or be at the sink and watch TV and the Oscar wood/ multi fuel burning stove..

Separate bathroom off living area

Modern kitchen- Dishwasher, Wash machine/tumble drier, microwave, Halogen hob, fridge & freezer, iron and board

Walk into conservatory with grapes peaches etc (in season!)

Private patio area with tables, chairs, sunloungers, BBQ and BBQ cooking utensils

The stables (sleeps 5) also features an LCD television, dining table which seats six, a leather suite and a wood burning stove with original brick chimney breast. A fully glazed door opens into a large sunny greenhouse with grape vines, peaches and vegetables. The patio area is adjacent to a beautiful nature pond. (Please note there is a metal/ wooden grid so is safe but supervision of very young children may be necessary)

The house is eco friendly, with a fully equipped bathroom with bath and solar heated hotwater using naturally harvested rainwater. Natural pine wood used extensively including entire ground floor and double sheeted doors. 22 meg WI-FI throughout.

The second bedroom- can also be configured with one superking or two single beds and also features an en-suite (Including Bath and Shower cubicle), with mains pressurised system, shower and bath- and storage. There is a separate bathroom with bath, shower, WC, WHB. The Stables self catering unit is wheel-chair friendly.

Bicycles available, Shared tennis court on site, Private fishing lake / river, Climbing frame and slide, Swing set, Trampoline, sand pit, basketball net, football goals, tree house (proper one). Free access to games room wih slatebed snooker/ pool table, table tennis, table football, darts (please ask) wii/dvd/TV, play mats, toys. There is croquet and badminton equipment on site and a store containing good quality recliner chairs and pads, fridge for fishing bait, additional picnic gear, place for drying outside clothing etc, OS maps, jigsaws, toys and board games with some reference books and novels/ childrens books.

There is a hot tub and sauna available for exlusive use (surcharge applies). There are sunloungers, recliner chairs with seat pads.We have bikes and kayaks available for hire. Outdoors: badminton and croquet, football and childrens play area- sand pit swings, slide 14'trampoline. Archery lessons available- and mountain bikes for hire (extra charge). only a few miles from new Mountain bike circuit. Archery instruction and badminton coaching are also available on site. Babysitting service available.

The County Fermanagh region

We are 20 minutes from Crom National Trust estate, Lisnaskea and Monaghan. We are 30 minutes from Enniskillen, Florencecourt and 40 minutes from Omagh Ulster American Folk park and Unesco Geopark Marble arch caves and Beleek Pottery. We are ideally situated as a base for touring further afield also. .

There are numerous restaurants and bars on site with plenty of events going on in the surrounding area. The boating and angling on Lough Erne are legendary. We can make suggestions and recommendations to you to help in your itinery building!

Fermanagh's rich history has left a legacy that stands out in the form of some of Ireland's finest treasures. Intriguing rock carvings dating back as far as 3000 BC, stunning Castles & Stately homes as well as ancient traditions & crafts tell the story of a county steeped in history

Enniskillen Castle situated on the banks of the River Erne was built in the early 15th Century by the Maguire Chieftains who ruled Fermanagh at that time. The castle is now home to Fermanagh County Museum and Inniskillings Museum as well as being an excellent starting place to research local and family history.

Founded in the 6th Century by St. Molaise, Devenish Island is located in Lower Lough Erne and is one of the finest monastic sites in Ireland. It is home to a perfect 12th Century round tower, several Church ruins, two graveyards and an unusual cross.

Established in 1857 Belleek Pottery holds a very special place in the cultural and commercial heritage of Co. Fermanagh. The Belleek Visitor centre hosts one of the most authentic museums in the Country; on permanent display are items that have been made in the Pottery including earthenware dating from the 1850's, magnificent creations from every Belleek period as well as Masterpieces like the Exhibition Centrepiece. As Belleek celebrates its 150th anniversary we invite you to visit this world renowned visitor attraction which has become a global icon for Irish craft & design skills.

Lisnaskea

Our location is an excellent fishing centre- not only because we are on edge of a Pike and Perch lake but the entire Fermanagh Lakelands is on our door step. The enormous Lough Erne is only 7 miles away with its massive stock of fish- perch, pike, bream, roach, tench, trout and salmon. Within one mile we have a selection of coarse and game fishing lakes, two of which are stocked with trout (licence can be purchased for £5 per day from local shop). Erne tackle is also nearby for bait requirements.(www.ernetackleandcycles.co.uk). The full list if fishing spots in the area can be seen from DCAL Fishing NI , including the nearby Rainbow trout stocked lake- Corrany- 1mile away.
