Fishermans Cottage is situated on the shore of Upper Lough Erne, 2 miles from Lisnaskea. It is a modern 3 bedroom cottage set in a beautiful location overlooking Lough Erne and its islands.

There is access to a number of jetties for boating and fishing and a private slipway for launching boats100m from the cottage. The fishing in the area is first class with good catches of coarse fish and large pike every year.

The cottage is within walking distance of the Watermill Restaurant which is famous for its fine French cuisine, 5 minutes by car to Lisnaskea and within easy reach of visitor attractions such as Crom Castle, Florencecourt and The Marble Arche Caves.

The County Fermanagh region

Upper Lough Erne is a beautiful part of Northern Ireland, it offers a range of activities both on and off the water.

The Lough boasts numerous islands and there are historical sites including the National Trust properties of Crom Castle, Florence Court and Castle Coole within easy reach of the cottage.

For the adventurous type there are many activities on offer at the Share Centre (5 minutes away by car) including canoeing, kayaking, wind surfing, banana boating, archery, climbing, mountain biking and combat corps to name but a few.

In addition they also have a swimming pool and gymnasium.

Lisnaskea itself is approx 2 miles away and here you can purchase all the necessaries for your stay. In the town there is the Donn Carragh Hotel and several takeaways including Chinese and Indian food for those who prefer not to do any cooking when on their holidays.
