“Lovely apartment, overlooking the harbour.” This apartment is ideally situated overlooking the harbour. It is equipped with everything anyone would need on holiday including sunbeds on the balcony and down at the pool. It is within walking distance to supermarket, restaurants, bars, shops and beach. Alvor is a lovely old fishing village with lots of little restaurants and bars giving it a great atmosphere in the evenings. Great place for couples and families. .

“Absolutely Fantastic..” Having literally just returned from our Holiday in the Algarve, I can honestly say that in the 20+ years we have been renting self-catering accommodation, we have never been treated in such a welcoming and warm manner. From the initial enquiry, right through to our departure, Almerindo and his parents (lets not forget Sergio either) were highly communicative and straight forward to deal with.. We were 6 handed for the most part (this increased to 7 for the last couple of nights) and not once did we feel lacking or wanting in any area. The property was presented immaculately clean - The pool water was sparkling (salt based, SO MUCH SOFTER ON THE SKIN) and they were also kind enough to put some cold drinks in the fridge in advance of our arrival - small things that sometime make all the difference. Comfortable bedrooms and living areas - 2 fully functional kitchens and a BBQ Terrace. The gated pool was a major bonus as we have an adventurous 4 year old.. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and have already made overtures to return in Summer 2017.

“Comfortable, spacious apartment, good location” We stayed at Old Village Prestige Penthouse Dec16/Jan17. A cosy, comfortable, spacious, very clean and nicely furnished apartment. Kitchen is well equiped, we only made breakfast and 2 dinners during our stay. Good food at the O Café bar/restaurant on site. The apartment is situated in an ideal location within the Old Village Complex. Great views from the roof top terrace. A 20 minute walk down to the Marina was pleasant in the winter sunshine. Vilamoura was quiet, a lot of the shops and restaurants were closed for the holidays. Good arrival instructions and information in advance from Darina (the owner). Darina stays nearby, we arrived in the evening when it was getting chilly, she had thoughtfully switched on table lamps and the heater in the living room – a nice touch. Jim responded very quickly to our problem with the safe. Darina & Jim are welcoming and friendly hosts. We will definitely return to this apartment.
