“Perfect weekend getaway” The house was brilliant! it had everything we needed. I love to cook and the kitchen was excellent, amazingly well equipped for a holiday home. We wanted a quiet weekend and the cottage provided it, wonderful! Beautiful and very comfortable surroundings and a very welcoming host we will definitely be back for a longer period so we can explore the area more.

“Pine Lakes, Lodge 41” Great location, very close to the lake, lovely views front and back, also, very short distance to main reception and facilities. The lodge was spotless, very nice decor and facilities. This was the 3rd time my wife and I have stayed at Pine Lake, this lodge was by far the best. Good communication with Kathryn (owner) prior to our trip. Highly recommended.

“Fantastic little get away!!” On arrival we was welcomed with a really nice gesture they was a happy birthday message some birthday banners also chocolates and presseco and a heart shaped out of rose petals on the bed, what an absolute stunning place a great hideout to get away and enjoy the sun trap that's just been an absolute pleasure stay I will be definitely returning no faults at all well worth a visit.

“Happy New year with friends” The house was lovely and had plenty of space for our group of 12 and Woody the dog. We appreciated the welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits etc. It was also nice to find the house had Christmas decorations up in all the downstairs rooms. The shop across the road came in handy on a few occasions. Within a few minutes walk there are more shops, pubs and cafes. The beach is also close by. We enjoyed eating round the big dining table and relaxing in the two comfortable lounges, one of which contained a good selection of dvds. The younger members of our party were also happy with the Wi-fi connection. A great time was had by all and we would be happy to return again in the future.

“Whitby Delight” The apartment was lovely. Plenty of space, nice rooms and tastefully decorated. Its well situated not far from the sea front. The communication from the owners was great and very clear, plenty of guidance around covid and felt safe. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

“Beautiful Cottage” We have just returned from a 3 night break in this lovely cottage next to a very nice park and close to local shops, restaurants and pubs. There are also lots of picturesque walks close by. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and will definitely be returning !!!!!! Thank you x

“Beautiful cottage, 5* hospitality & great value for money!” I stayed at the cottage with my husband, 2 children & 2 friends of ours, having booked it for the weekend as we were attending a wedding close by. We arrived (late) after a very long journey from London and the hospitality from Catherine was second to none! She had food, wine, freshly baked bread & even eggs from the chickens in the garden as well as numerous toys for the children. Not only did Catherine's welcome take us back, but the cottage was absolutely spotless! Seriously, the cleanest house I have ever had the privilege of staying in. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. I would absolutely recommend this property and advise as long a stay as possible!

“perfect for everything” just spent a weekend with 6 friends in this lovely house,we went to celebrate my50th birthday and as a suprise my friend who made the booking had a word with janet and when we arrived janet had placed banners and balloons up in the kitchen/dining area,and also got a cake with candles,this extra special touch just made it perfect,the house itself is spotless with plenty of room for everyone,we did tend to gather in the kitchen more than the front room but that was just cos we had a couple of smokers with us and they could go outside and still be in on the conversations and laughs we were having,the bed i had was very comfortable and i had a lovely nights sleep,cant fault this place for location either,everything just a stones throw away,would definatley stay here again should we want to return to york.

“Fabulous Lodge” Beautiful comfortable luxury Lodge. Modern and furnished to a very high standard. The Decking area was ace. Lovely site. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. A week was not long enough so we hope to return again.
