“Cosy cottage in great location” Location good for exploring coast north and south. The small supermarket literally around the corner was handy. The cottage had everything we needed and a local contact for any problems. All very comfortable. Thank you.

“Fantastic little get away!!” On arrival we was welcomed with a really nice gesture they was a happy birthday message some birthday banners also chocolates and presseco and a heart shaped out of rose petals on the bed, what an absolute stunning place a great hideout to get away and enjoy the sun trap that's just been an absolute pleasure stay I will be definitely returning no faults at all well worth a visit.

“Happy New year with friends” The house was lovely and had plenty of space for our group of 12 and Woody the dog. We appreciated the welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits etc. It was also nice to find the house had Christmas decorations up in all the downstairs rooms. The shop across the road came in handy on a few occasions. Within a few minutes walk there are more shops, pubs and cafes. The beach is also close by. We enjoyed eating round the big dining table and relaxing in the two comfortable lounges, one of which contained a good selection of dvds. The younger members of our party were also happy with the Wi-fi connection. A great time was had by all and we would be happy to return again in the future.

“Family birthday celebration” Sunrise barn was ideal for our family get together birthday celebration. It's very well equipped, dog friendly, has a gas BBQ and even my 81 year old mum enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. Having 4 spacious ground floor bedrooms all ensuite was perfect. Its a great area for walking either straight from Romaldkirk, or a short drive takes you to Middleton Teesdale and the start of the stunning walk to High Force. I would highly recommend this fabulous barn and wouldn't hesitate to book again for a family get together.

“Whitby Delight” The apartment was lovely. Plenty of space, nice rooms and tastefully decorated. Its well situated not far from the sea front. The communication from the owners was great and very clear, plenty of guidance around covid and felt safe. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

“Perfect weekend getaway” The house was brilliant! it had everything we needed. I love to cook and the kitchen was excellent, amazingly well equipped for a holiday home. We wanted a quiet weekend and the cottage provided it, wonderful! Beautiful and very comfortable surroundings and a very welcoming host we will definitely be back for a longer period so we can explore the area more.

“Beautiful Cottage” We have just returned from a 3 night break in this lovely cottage next to a very nice park and close to local shops, restaurants and pubs. There are also lots of picturesque walks close by. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and will definitely be returning !!!!!! Thank you x

“The place to stay in Whitby” Lovely well equipped third floor apartment with great view of the river & boat moorings. A plus is the undercroft designated parking space. NYM steam train passes daily on the opposite side of the river. 10-15 minute stroll to centre of Whitby with a good choice of places to eat. Stay coincided with Whitby Regatta week, great fun, as was the display by the RAF Red Arrows & the fantastic firework display the following evening. Hope to return to Sealview in the not too distant future

“Beautiful cottage, 5* hospitality & great value for money!” I stayed at the cottage with my husband, 2 children & 2 friends of ours, having booked it for the weekend as we were attending a wedding close by. We arrived (late) after a very long journey from London and the hospitality from Catherine was second to none! She had food, wine, freshly baked bread & even eggs from the chickens in the garden as well as numerous toys for the children. Not only did Catherine's welcome take us back, but the cottage was absolutely spotless! Seriously, the cleanest house I have ever had the privilege of staying in. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. I would absolutely recommend this property and advise as long a stay as possible!
