Looking for something outrageously different for your next holiday? Then take a look at these holiday castles, windmills, yurts and manor houses that are all available for you to book and make your holiday an extraordinary one.
And there’s plenty to choose from: you could set your loved one's heart racing with a fairy-tale break to a French chateau or rent a houseboat in Amsterdam with your pals. Or how about escaping to a cosy log cabin in the mountains, or going glamping on a yurt holiday in Devon or Cornwall.
If stunning and unusual architecture is for you, rent a regal castle in the Scottish Highlands, a quirky lighthouse by the sea or return to a bygone age on a windmill holiday in Greece.
“Lovely stay” This was a beautiful place. Wish to see more places like this around the country. The hosts were very welcoming and patient as we arrived extremely late. Definitely recommend this accommodation.

“Great fun” We (4 lads) came to the peaks to do a couple of decent walks, and were incredibly impressed with the standard of the barn......dry and surprisingly warm even before getting the log burner going! Plenty of space for parking and an outside BB

Thank you so much for the 5 star review Natalie - much appreciated
Before this Winter we hope to insulate the roof space to make upstairs retain the heat better. We are planning to do this without spoiling the character of the barn and maintain the visibility of the lovely old internal beams.
Yes, the old bridal path leading to the barn can be a challenge for low cars, pleased you managed it. We upgrade the lane when we can but as it is a bridal path we are not allowed to tarmac it or alter its appearance too much. Anyone concerned about the lane is most welcome to park at the farmhouse where there is ample room and extra cars can be parked here if necessary, however we do encourage people to car share when possible.
Hope you will return
