Fantastic UK holidays are available at thousands of private holiday homes dotted up and down the country. Whether you fancy cream teas in Devon, vibrant city breaks in London or a Highland fling in Scotland, there are plenty of UK breaks that really cut the mustard.
Explore England and its varied landscape – spend your break in a charming Cotswold cottage or visit the Lake District or the Norfolk Broads. In Wales, book a city break in Cardiff or Swansea, test out your surfing skills on the Gower or find out why so many fall in love with Snowdonia and Anglesey.
Go to Scotland to join the crowds at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Military Tattoo. You could take to the slopes in Aviemore or get back to nature on the Isle of Skye. Northern Ireland has plenty to tempt the traveller too: visit Belfast, the walled city of Derry or see the natural beauty of the Fermanagh Lakelands.

"Caer Beris is a truly beautiful holiday lodge site set in thirty four acres of idyllic Welsh countryside. Set on the banks of the River Irfon, just outside the picturesque town of Builth Wells, the park is surely one of the most peaceful and tranquil in the region. The park does not have the facilities of many holiday parks, but prefers to ensure all visitors can fully relax amongst the lovely flora of the park, a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of normal daily life."
There are no caravans allowed - sorry Rachel you seem to have missed something very beautiful. The 16 travellers before you had glasses half full.... Other children find the bunk an adventure, the patio is immaculate as the photos show , the grass in front is cut fortnightly and the photos also show the wild part of the garden which is deliberately kept as a butterfly haven. Yes the linen was new and fresh and perfect , yes the lounge was well stocked and comfy with free Wifi..
Yes it would be better if you could in the future manage to find something in such a lovely setting at such a tremendously reasonable price for 5 people.!!! I have no explanation for the "smells" just to say they certainly weren't there when I was. The shower works wonderfully too.

We are very sorry that your trip wasnt as positive as you hoped. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service. We would have been only too happy to respond to any concerns you had about the facilities at the time and certainly would have remedied the dripping noise if we'd known and WIFI problem if we had known you couldn't connect. I checked trains the week you stayed just in case there was a problem with the line that day and there didn't appear to be any issue. The trains go into Cardiff every 10-15 mins during the week and every 45-60 mins on a Sunday. We cannot see into the cottage at all during the day - it's only possible at night if the light is on curtains not drawn which is pretty normal. I can assure you that privacy is of upmost importance to our guests and ourselves and our development is designed to block out any disturbing noise between the two properties so apologies if this didn't work for you. I can assure you we couldn't and didn't hear you or your family. I hope your experience didn't put too much of a dampner on your visit to Wales.
