With traditional beams and timbers in the large living room which leads into a lovely light, kitchen breakfast room with downstairs cloakroom and toilet. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms one with an ensuite shower and a large family bathroom with a front twin room overlooking the thatched pump house.

Location description from owner

The England region

Old Bridwell was originally the home farm serving the Bridwell Park Estate, now owned by Lord Mountbatten. Old Bridwell retained the walled kitchen garden from the estate, with its cordons of apple tree and espaliers of pear and plum trees. The holiday cottages were converted from the farmhouse and barns retaining names for their past. Spring, Bramley and Rosemary. Spring cottage was home to a natural spring , which even in the hottest driest of weathers continued to flow leading to he name 'Brides Well' where it is claimed young brides would wash in the spring water to ensure fertility. The building were used for traditional cider production from the estate which once barrelled would then be stored in the the Thatched Cottage.
