Covid-19: in line with UK Government advice, we are pleased to reopen 18 Trinity Mews to all guests from 4th July. An enhanced cleaning regime will be in place to ensure your safety.
Acquired in 2016, 18 Trinity Mews has proved itself popular with couples seeking a holiday hideaway which is quiet and relaxed, yet close to Torquay's bustling inner Harbour, great restaurants and lively nightlife. This cosy one-bedroom flat is decorated, furnished and equipped to a high standard and situated within a characterful historic building in a great location a couple of minutes away from the Harbour - a perfect hideaway for couples!
Our flat is located within an historic Grade 2 Listed mews building, in a Conservation Area, that once housed horses and carriages. The bedroom contains a luxurious oak-framed king-size bed and oak furniture; the lounge has a leather sofa and armchair and a separate dining table and chairs; there is a fully-equipped kitchen with fridge, washer/dryer, dishwasher, cooker, hob, electric kettle, toaster and microwave; and a self-contained bathroom with shower over the bath. The TV has Freeview and unlimited free WiFi, BT Vision and BT Sport are available. The flat also has an audio system which plays from digital radio, CD, USB and Bluetooth.
The flat is in a quiet side-street yet just moments away from Torquay's bustling Harbour area, seafront and town centre with all its shops, restaurants, pubs and bars; and is ideal for couples looking for an intimate seaside hideaway for a few days. The Harbour is also the focal point of the local bus network, and Torquay is well-served by trains and coaches, so the flat is ideal for a car-free getaway.
There are also a number of beaches in a variety of beautiful settings within easy reach. The main Abbey Sands in Torquay itself is about ten minutes' walk away, whilst in the opposite direction is the beautiful and tranquil Meadfoot Beach, set in a wooded bay and with a small café. There are a number of other attractive beaches in the area, and beautiful sea views from the coastal paths and cliff top at nearby Daddyhole Plain.
Torquay is consistently voted by TripAdvisor users as one of the best seaside resorts in England, and it is not difficult to see why. South-facing and set in a sheltered bay, it is one of the warmest and sunniest spots in the UK. Torquay, together with the neighbouring family-friendly resort of Paignton and the pretty, intimate fishing town of Brixham make up The English Riviera; 22 miles of stunning coastline and beaches, and myriad attractions and things to see and do for all ages. It is also an ideal base for exploring the cities, towns and countryside of South Devon. The unique geography of the area led to it becoming the first urban area in the world to be granted Geopark status in 2007.
But above all, we want you to feel at home. We use the flat too as a home-from-home and we want you to enjoy it as much as we do!
Inclusive pricing: the price you pay includes bed linen and towels (no need to bring your own); gas, electricity and water; free TV, DVD and WiFi and there is even milk, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits for wehn you arrive. There is no additional guest booking fee for this property.
Arrival and departure: The flat is available from 3pm on arrival day. Please vacate by 10am on departure day, to give the management company time to clean the flat and change bedlinen and towels in between guests.
Accessibility statement: this flat is not wheelchair accessible, and may not be suitable for people with limited mobility as it does not have step-free access. The approach to Trinity Mews is up a short but steep hill, and the flat is accessed by 20 steps up to the first floor balcony. The shower is not walk-in, but requires stepping into and out of the bath.
Car parking: The flat does not have a dedicated parking space. Trinity Mews is in a Controlled Parking Zone, but I can provide free of charge daily Visitor Parking Permits so you can park in the adjacent streets.
The flat is registered with the local Council as a Holiday Let and is liable for local non-domestic rates. All net income from holiday letting is declared for UK tax purposes.

“Delightful Apartment in Heart of Torquay”
The apartment is modern, superbly equipped and beautifully situated. It was an excellent base to explore South Devon and the Torbay area. There are so many highlights to see. You are also in walking distance of some excellent pubs and the lovely harbour. My partner especially the high standard of cleanliness.

We stayed in June for 16 days . The apartment is very clean and bright it's in a great location for shops pubs and meadfoot beach. Peter is very helpful . We have already booked for 2020.

The flat was very nice had all that we needed and was cleaned to a very high standard. The cleaner was very helpful as he was there when we arrived as the gate code had changed.

The flat was well equipped with everything you need for a great break. The flat was cleaned to a very good standard. The place felt like home from home with all the personal touches. It's in a great location to travel around South Devon. There was lots of information in the place of all local attractions. Would definitely return again for a break.
