Surrounded by vineyards from as long ago as the XIX Century, the Casa do Planalto carries the architectural heritage unique to Algarve. Although in a rural setting, the Casa do Planalto offers all the comforts of a modern home: Besides the fantastic private panoramic swimming pool, 6 guests are accommodated in 3 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a central living room with an inspiring view, and a fully equipped modern kitchen. A TV in the living room and free Wifi signal are also included.

The setting is indeed unique. Casa do Planalto is embedded in a renown vineyard, currently in production, bottled and sold under the name "Convento do Paraíso" with a total cultivated area of 140 hectares. Nevertheless, the house´s orientation and exclusive entrance guarantee complete privacy, bringing the best of both worlds in a perfect blend of tradition and comfort. Parking space will definitely not be a problem either.

Wine tasting can be arranged upon request. The towels and sheets are included in the apartment as well as the towels for the pool.

The Apartment is managed by a family company. You will have the guarantee of a warm welcome by Joana one of the members who will explain to you how everything works in the apartment and will give you all the needed information and tips for a perfect stay.

Silves is the oldest city in the Algarve situated inland on the fertile Barrocal plains at the foothills of the Serra de Monchique. It is located in the upper basin of the Rio Arade, which flows into the Atlantic ocean.

During the time of the Arab occupation, the river Arade was an important waterway, connecting Silves with the harbor of Portimão.

In Silves, you can enjoy the best of Algarve - the rich historic countryside and the beautiful sandy beaches.

Getting around by car, van or motorbike it's recommended.

From the EN 125, the main road linking east to west in the Algarve, and from the A22 motorway (exit 7) it takes minutes to reach Silves via the N124-1. If you are not in a hurry you may consider an alternative route to enjoy the beautiful landscape surrounding Silves, the M269 from Alcantarilha.

The nearest train station on the Linha do Algarve, the one-track railway is a few kilometers south of Silves. It is better to use the EVA buses to travel from Silves to other destinations.

The house is totally private surrounded by nature and vineyards with a private parking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
