This stunning lodge at Rowardennan is on the eastern shores of Loch Lomond at the foot of Ben Lomond. The West Highland Way runs adjacent to the site and there are many other walks nearby.

The lodge looks right out towards Loch Lomond with amazing views over the surrounding mountains.

Rowardennan can be reached in under an hour from Glasgow (about 28 miles). Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park has some of the most breath taking scenery in the world. There is plenty to do on and around the loch including hill walking, mountain climbing, water sports, fishing, cycling and just general sight seeing

Lomond Retreat has a stunning open plan living space, with a beautiful modern kitchen fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge,freezer, microwave etc.

Large lounge with feature fireplace has 2 seater sofa and three seater sofa bed and reclining chair. 55" Freesat smart TV and HD DVD player.

The dining area overlooks the deck at the front with views of the Loch.

Gas central heating and double glazing.

There are 2 good size bedrooms both with fitted wardrobes and a large master en-suite with double shower cubical and fitted WC and vanity units. There is a fresh, bright, family bathroom with L shaped Spa bath with colour changing lights. Overhead and handheld showers. Fitted WC and vanity units.

There is also a very nice sauna built within the lodge and seating up to 6 people

The big decking area at the front of the lodge overlooks the loch and mountains beyond.

Lovely just to sit on at night and watch the sun go down.

Very Good

“Fantastic Loch Lomond lodge stay”

We stayed at Rowardennan lodges as a family of 4. Our lodge ( lodge 12) was perfect! Equipped with everything we needed, even phone chargers! The beds were very cosy and we loved the hot water bottles too! We all enjoyed the sauna after being out walking in the cold all day. We loved the little beach area situated within the grounds and took a BBQ down there one night which was great! Our host, Doreen, was lovely and left a thoughtful welcome gift which was very appreciated. She was very quick to reply to any messages throughout the booking process. We will definitely return in the summer!

Just returned from fabulous family break. Stayed at one of the chalets which were fully furnished with all mod cons. Fantastic staff who were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this site and will be returning in the near future.

“Lovely place”

Great location for walking, right on Loch Lomond too. Really lovely lodge, the owners have equipped it fantastically, even had chargers in the bedroom! It has everything you’d need, I’ve stayed in quite a few places over the years and this is definitely the best equipped (to the owners, if you read this, I love the bathroom mirror, I want one at home! ). We had a warm welcome from one of the owners and never had any issues.

“Fabulous lodge”

We stayed at the lodge for 4 days for my sisters 60th. Owners were so friendly and even put some banners up for my sisters birthday and left some wine and chocolates which was such a lovely touch. Lodge is newly refurbished, very clean and modern. They have thought of everything you might need even phone chargers by the bed and a lovely sauna. Would definitely return

“Excellent Lodge”

Where to start!! The lodge was outstanding with stunning views. From the communication to the lovely Welcome pack from Doreen was second to none. The Christmas touches were fantastic. Fantastic place to bring in the New Year. The lodge itself has everything and more. Well equipped kitchen & plenty space. We are a family of 4. My 2 sons loved the fact there was games console, whilst the sauna was a nice way to relax and end the day. We will definitely return. A huge thank you to Doreen for also sending my bracelet that I left.

“Excellent family accomodation on Loch Lomond”

Nice setting on quieter side of Loch Lomond. Ideal for climbing the Ben. Big and very well equipped living room & kitchen. Very clean and well maintained throughout. Great porch with table for eating with a loch / mountain view. Sauna room a rare bonus.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Doreen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
