“Absolutely perfect”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2016

Very easy to review this one, it was absolutely perfect can find no fault with the cottage it was spotless from the crockery in the kitchen cupboards to the linen on the beds . It is perfectly positioned for public transport buses and trains so no car needed. Bus stop at the top of the drive and train station about 20 minute walk , with lots of shops to browse in on the way . Have to say the best thing about the whole holiday was the people we met from the cottage owners who felt like friends at the end of the week , to the locals who were all extremely friendly and helpful. The only drawback with the cottage is that it is so popular you will struggle to find a free week . But I for one will definitely be booking to go again because whatever time of the year you go the cottage is so comfortable you don't really need to leave it , just pop on the heating relax on the sofa and read one or two of the many books that are on the bookshelves , or there's always a board game which are also provided .

Thanks for your glowing review Gillian. Really glad you & your mother enjoyed your relaxing stay. Hope to see you both again very soon. Kind Regards Spencer & Louise

“Superb”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2016

I can't say enough good about the Stables. It is quiet, yet within only yards of the bus stop and easy access to probably the best pub in all of the UK (Halcyon Quest). Prestatyn is arguably one of the best small towns in all of the UK in terms of friendliness, the pub, Tesco's, shopping, restaurants and atmosphere. The beds are comfy, the living room is exquisite, the kitchen is handy and the baths are great. There's a small patio for relaxation and it is quite private. The owners are quick to respond and quite helpful. Had a friend come in from Manchester and he slept well in the pull out downstairs. Prestatyn is like home to me since it's about my fourth trip there and I will definitely return to the Stables. Superb in every way.

Many thanks for your great review!

“Fantastic family accommodation - Would recommend!”

Reviewed 20 Aug 2013

What a fantastic holiday we had. we have 3 children under 12 and the accommodation was ideal. The location was central to all surrounding areas so we weren't spending hours in the car. It was also within walking distance to local amenities and most importantly the beach. The owners even let our little ones feed the chickens which was a real treat for them. Would definately recommend to friends.
