From the owner

Casa Alimas is a spacious detached holiday villa set in a peaceful location, but is just a short walk from the centre of Praia da Luz and the beach. Many other beaches and attractions are close at hand.

The villa is on two floors, with groundfloor bedrooms, each with ensuite facilities and a patio door to the private pool. Upstairs the large lounge opens onto a broad balcony with stunning views and plenty of space to lounge or eat al fresco. With one double and two twin bedrooms, the villa is ideal for families.

The villa is managed locally by English speaking staff who provide any help and guidance you require. Marina, the English-speaking maid visits on week days in the afternoons.

The 3 bedrooms (one double and two twins) usually accommodate up to six people, but can comfortably accommodate eight people. The larger twin room has a sofa bed that makes two additional single beds, so the room can accommodate four people. Duvets are used on the beds.

The main family bathroom has been made ensuite to the large twin and a shower room added (2012), so each bedroom now has ensuite facilities.

A spiral staircase, with child gates, leads upstairs to the large, fully equipped kitchen and the lounge/dining room. Three sets of patio doors lead onto the broad balcony with beautiful views over Luz and the Atlantic Ocean. Fully equipped, including Air Con, broadband wifi, TV ( UK channels via the Internet), DVD, VCR, CD/Radio/iPod player, telephone, dishwasher etc.

A new outdoor annexe has been constructed, enabling you to cool off by the pool. The garden is well stocked with fruit trees. Private parking for three cars.

Exceptional Villa

This place was simply glorious. Clean and tidy with stunning views. We’ll laid out and very well equipped. The pool was amazing. The only problem you’ll have is not wanting to leave!

Why can't I call Geoff (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Geoff (the owner) a message.

If Geoff (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
